چنئی — تمل ناڈو کی سیاست میں ایک نئے باب کا آغاز اُس وقت مزید نمایاں ہو گیا جب ریاست کے نو منتخب وزیرِ اعلیٰ C. Joseph Vijay نے اپنی کابینہ کے قلمدانوں کی تقسیم مکمل کرتے ہوئے انتظامیہ، پولیس، شہری ترقی، خواتین و نوجوانوں کی فلاح اور آبی وسائل جیسے اہم محکمے اپنے پاس رکھے۔
ریاستی راج بھون کی جانب سے جاری تفصیلات کے مطابق، Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam کی نئی حکومت نے اپنی سیاسی شناخت کو نوجوان قیادت اور انتظامی تبدیلی کے تصور سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کی ہے۔ پارٹی کے جنرل سیکریٹری N Anand کو دیہی ترقی اور آبی وسائل، جبکہ Aadhav Arjuna کو پبلک ورکس اور اسپورٹس کا قلمدان دیا گیا ہے۔
سابق آئی آر ایس افسر Dr KG Arunraj کو صحت اور خاندانی بہبود، جبکہ سینئر سیاست دان K A Sengottaiyan کو مالیات کا محکمہ سونپا گیا ہے۔ کابینہ میں شامل واحد خاتون وزیر S Keerthana کو صنعت اور سرمایہ کاری کے شعبے دیے گئے ہیں، جسے خواتین نمائندگی کے ایک علامتی قدم کے طور پر دیکھا جا رہا ہے۔

اسی دوران معروف اداکار اور سیاست دان Kamal Haasan نے وزیرِ اعلیٰ وجے سے ملاقات کر کے تمل فلم انڈسٹری کے لیے چھ اہم مطالبات پیش کیے۔ کمل ہاسن نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ وجے کے لہجے میں عاجزی اور تمل ناڈو کی بہتری کے لیے خوابوں کی ایک نئی جھلک موجود ہے۔ انہوں نے فلمی صنعت کو درپیش مشکلات کے حل کے لیے ریاستی حمایت کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔
سیاسی مبصرین کے مطابق، تمل ناڈو میں یہ تبدیلی صرف اقتدار کی منتقلی نہیں بلکہ فلمی مقبولیت، نوجوان سیاست اور علاقائی شناخت کے امتزاج سے جنم لینے والی ایک نئی سیاسی ثقافت کی علامت بن رہی ہے۔

Chennai — A new chapter in Tamil Nadu’s political history gained sharper definition as newly elected Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay completed the allocation of portfolios in his cabinet, retaining key departments including public administration, police, urban development, women and youth welfare, and water supply under his direct charge.
According to details released from the Raj Bhavan, the new government led by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam is attempting to project itself as a blend of youthful leadership and administrative transformation. Party general secretary N Anand has been entrusted with rural development and water resources, while Aadhav Arjuna takes charge of public works and sports development.
Former IRS officer Dr KG Arunraj has been assigned the health and family welfare ministry, while veteran politician K A Sengottaiyan assumes responsibility for finance. The cabinet’s lone woman minister, S Keerthana, has been given the industries and investment promotion portfolio — a move being viewed as a symbolic nod toward women’s representation in governance.
The government itself emerged through support from the Indian National Congress, Left parties, Indian Union Muslim League, and Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, enabling Vijay’s party to secure power. A confidence vote backed by 144 legislators further consolidated the legitimacy of the new administration.
Meanwhile, celebrated actor-politician Kamal Haasan met Chief Minister Vijay and submitted six major demands seeking greater institutional support for the Tamil film industry. In his statement, Kamal Haasan praised Vijay’s humility and his vision for the future of Tamil Nadu, while urging the government to address the mounting challenges faced by the cinema sector.
Political observers believe the rise of Vijay marks more than a routine transfer of power. It signals the emergence of a new political culture in Tamil Nadu — one shaped by cinematic influence, youthful aspirations, and the enduring strength of regional identity.
