ہندوستان کی خلائی معیشت میں ایک نئی روشنی ابھرتی دکھائی دے رہی ہے، جہاں ریاست تمل ناڈو نے نجی خلائی کمپنی Agnikul Cosmos میں 25 کروڑ روپے کی سرمایہ کاری کر کے ایک جرات مندانہ قدم اٹھایا ہے۔
یہ سرمایہ کاری صرف مالی معاونت نہیں بلکہ ایک وژن کی عکاسی ہے — ایسا وژن جو ہندوستان کو عالمی خلائی صنعت میں ایک مضبوط مقام دلانے کا عزم رکھتا ہے۔ Agnikul Cosmos ایک جدید چھوٹے سیٹلائٹ لانچ وہیکل، Agnibaan، تیار کر رہی ہے جو کم لاگت اور تیز رفتار سیٹلائٹ ترسیل کے لیے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔
اس کے ساتھ ہی کمپنی ایک وسیع و عریض 300 ایکڑ پر مشتمل خلائی کیمپس قائم کر رہی ہے، جو تحقیق، تجربات اور لانچنگ سہولیات کا مرکز ہوگا۔ یہ کیمپس نہ صرف ٹیکنالوجی کا گہوارہ بنے گا بلکہ نوجوان سائنس دانوں اور انجینئرز کے لیے امید کی ایک نئی کرن بھی ہوگا۔
ریاستی ادارہ TIDCO (Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation) کی جانب سے کی گئی یہ سرمایہ کاری، ریاست کی اس حکمت عملی کا حصہ ہے جس کے تحت "ڈیپ ٹیک” اسٹارٹ اپس کو فروغ دیا جا رہا ہے۔
حالیہ قومی خلائی پالیسی اور "وینچر اسٹیٹ” ماڈل کے تحت، حکومت اور نجی شعبہ مل کر ایک ایسا ماحول تشکیل دے رہے ہیں جہاں اختراع (innovation) کو فروغ ملے اور سرمایہ کاری کو نئی سمتیں حاصل ہوں۔
اندازہ ہے کہ ان اقدامات کے نتیجے میں ہندوستان کی خلائی معیشت 2033 تک نمایاں ترقی حاصل کرے گی، اور ملک عالمی خلائی دوڑ میں ایک نمایاں کردار ادا کرے گا۔

A new chapter is unfolding in India’s space economy as the state of Tamil Nadu makes a strategic investment of ₹25 crore in private space startup Agnikul Cosmos.
This investment is more than juثst financial backing — it reflects a bold vision to position India as a significant player in the global space industry. Agnikul Cosmos is developing the Agnibaan rocket, a small satellite launch vehicle designed for cost-effective and rapid satellite deployment.
In addition, the company is establishing a 300-acre space campus, envisioned as a hub for research, testing, and launch infrastructure. This facility is expected to become a cradle of innovation and a beacon of opportunity for young scientists and engineers.
The investment, made through TIDCO (Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation), aligns with the state’s policy to promote deep-tech startups.
Supported by India’s new space policy and the evolving "venture state” model, the collaboration between government and private players is creating a fertile ecosystem for innovation and growth.
These initiatives are expected to significantly boost India’s space economy by 2033, enabling the nation to play a stronger role in the global space race.
