تمل ناڈو میں اسمبلی انتخابات کے نتائج کے اعلان سے قبل سیاسی فضا میں احتیاط اور چوکسی کا عنصر نمایاں ہو گیا ہے۔ Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ڈی ایم کے) نے Election Commission of India (ای سی آئی) کو ایک خط لکھ کر مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ 4 مئی کو ہونے والے ووٹوں کی گنتی کے عمل کو پُرامن، شفاف اور منظم بنانے کے لیے فوری اقدامات کیے جائیں۔
پارٹی کے تنظیمی سیکریٹری آر۔ ایس۔ بھارتی نے چیف الیکٹورل آفیسر ارچنا پٹنائک کو ارسال کردہ مکتوب میں دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ انہیں قابلِ اعتماد اطلاعات موصول ہوئی ہیں، جن کے مطابق بعض عناصر گنتی کے مراکز میں خلل ڈالنے کی کوشش کر سکتے ہیں۔ اس ضمن میں Bharatiya Janata Party (بی جے پی) اور دیگر کے حوالے سے خدشات کا اظہار بھی کیا گیا ہے۔
ڈی ایم کے نے الیکشن کمیشن سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ سکیورٹی کے خاطر خواہ انتظامات کرے، قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے ساتھ قریبی رابطہ قائم رکھے، اور اس امر کو یقینی بنائے کہ ووٹوں کی گنتی کا پورا عمل مکمل طور پر غیر جانبدار اور محفوظ رہے۔
یہ اپیل ایسے وقت میں سامنے آئی ہے جب Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Elections 2026 کے نتائج کے اعلان کا مرحلہ قریب ہے اور ریاست میں سیاسی سرگرمیاں اپنے عروج پر ہیں۔

In a letter addressed to Chief Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik, DMK organising secretary R.S. Bharathi stated that the party had received “credible information” suggesting possible attempts to disrupt counting at certain centres. The communication also raised concerns regarding alleged involvement of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other elements.
The DMK has called upon the Election Commission to deploy adequate security personnel, maintain close coordination with law enforcement agencies, and take all necessary preventive measures to safeguard the integrity of the counting process.
The appeal comes at a crucial moment as the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Elections 2026 approach the decisive counting phase, with political tensions running high across the State.
