آج کی دنیا نقشے پر تو بٹی ہوئی ہے، مگر دکھ میں ایک جیسی ہے۔
کہیں بارود برس رہا ہے، کہیں خاموشی قتل کر رہی ہے۔
کہیں لاشیں گنی جا رہی ہیں، کہیں ضمیر دفن ہو چکا ہے۔
انسان نے سائنس میں بلندی حاصل کر لی،
مگر انسانیت میں پستی کی آخری حدوں کو چھو رہا ہے۔
ہمارے شہروں میں عمارتیں بلند ہو رہی ہیں
اور ہمارے دل ویران ہوتے جا رہے ہیں۔
جنگ اب صرف سرحدوں پر نہیں لڑی جا رہی—
یہ گھروں کے اندر، ذہنوں میں، زبانوں پر اور نظریات میں اتر چکی ہے۔
نفرت کو عقیدہ بنا لیا گیا ہے
اور تشدد کو دلیل۔
سب سے زیادہ قیمت وہ ادا کر رہے ہیں
جن کا کسی فیصلے میں کوئی کردار نہیں:
معصوم بچے، بے بس عورتیں، اور وہ عام انسان
جو صرف جینا چاہتے تھے—خاموشی سے، امن کے ساتھ۔
ایسے میں صحافت کا کردار محض خبر رسانی نہیں رہ جاتا۔
یہ ضمیر کی آواز بننے کا وقت ہے۔
یہ یاد دلانے کا لمحہ ہے
کہ انسان، انسان کا دشمن نہیں ہوتا۔
نفرت فوری جوش تو دیتی ہے،
مگر انجام میں صرف تباہی چھوڑ جاتی ہے۔
یہ وہ آگ ہے جو پہلے دل کو جلاتی ہے
اور آخرکار پورے سماج کو راکھ کر دیتی ہے۔
الف نیوز اسی آگ کے مقابل
محبت کی شمع جلانے کی ایک ادنیٰ کوشش ہے۔
ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ
امن کوئی کمزوری نہیں،
بلکہ سب سے بڑی جرأت ہے۔
ہم یقین رکھتے ہیں کہ
الفاظ اگر سچائی سے نکلیں
تو مرہم بن سکتے ہیں،
اور قلم اگر انسانیت کے ساتھ ہو
تو ہتھیاروں سے زیادہ طاقتور ہو جاتا ہے۔
آج ضرورت اس بات کی ہے کہ
ہم مذہب، قوم، زبان اور سیاست سے اوپر اٹھ کر
صرف انسان بن کر سوچیں۔
کیونکہ جب انسانیت ہار جاتی ہے
تو کوئی بھی فتح، فتح نہیں رہتی۔
آئیے!
نفرت کے شور میں
امن کی آواز بنیں۔
خاموش تماشائی نہیں،
ذمہ دار شریک بنیں۔
کیونکہ تاریخ ان قوموں کو نہیں یاد رکھتی
جو طاقتور تھیں،
بلکہ ان لوگوں کو یاد رکھتی ہے
جنہوں نے اندھیرے میں بھی چراغ جلائے۔

When the World Turns into a Battlefield, the Pen Must Become a Prayer
Today’s world may be divided by borders, but it is united in suffering.
Somewhere bombs are falling; elsewhere, silence itself is killing.
In some places, bodies are being counted; in others, conscience has already been buried.
Humanity has reached extraordinary heights in science,
yet it is sinking to its lowest depths in compassion.
Our cities rise higher every day,
while our hearts grow emptier and more desolate.
War is no longer confined to borders.
It has entered our homes, our minds, our language, and our beliefs.
Hatred has been turned into ideology,
and violence into argument.
The heaviest price is paid by those
who had no role in any decision:
innocent children, helpless women, and ordinary people
whose only wish was to live—quietly, peacefully.
In times like these, journalism cannot remain mere reporting.
This is the moment to become the voice of conscience.
A moment to remind the world
that a human being is not the enemy of another human being.
Hatred may offer instant rage,
but it leaves behind only ruin.
It is a fire that first consumes the heart
and ultimately turns entire societies to ashes.
Alif News stands as a humble attempt
to light a candle of love against this raging fire.
We believe that peace is not weakness,
but the highest form of courage.
We hold that words, when born of truth,
can become healing.
And a pen, when guided by humanity,
can be more powerful than weapons.
Today, we must rise above religion, race, language, and politics
and think simply as human beings.
For when humanity loses,
no victory can truly be called a victory.
Let us become voices of peace
amid the noise of hatred.
Let us refuse to be silent spectators
and choose instead to be responsible participants.
Because history does not remember nations
for how powerful they were,
but for those who dared
to light lamps in the darkest of times.
