این ڈی اے اقتدار میں آئی تو تمل ناڈو کی ترقی خطرے میں پڑ جائے گی: وزیرِ اعلیٰ ایم کے اسٹالن

تمل ناڈو کے وزیرِ اعلیٰ اور ڈی ایم کے صدر ایم کے اسٹالن نے سخت الفاظ میں خبردار کیا ہے کہ اگر نیشنل ڈیموکریٹک الائنس (این ڈی اے) کو اقتدار ملا تو ایک ترقی یافتہ اور سماجی ہم آہنگی کی مثال سمجھی جانے والی ریاست تمل ناڈو کی بنیادیں متزلزل ہو جائیں گی۔
کمبکونم کے نواح میں انڈین یونین مسلم لیگ کے زیرِ اہتمام منعقدہ محلہ جماعتوں کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعلیٰ نے کہا کہ ڈی ایم کے کی قیادت میں قائم سیکولر پروگریسیو الائنس ہی وہ واحد سیاسی قوت ہے جو ریاست کے سیکولر تشخص، سماجی انصاف اور اقلیتی حقوق کا تحفظ کر سکتی ہے۔
ایم کے اسٹالن نے اے آئی اے ڈی ایم کے اور اس کے جنرل سیکریٹری ایڈاپاڈی کے پلانی سوامی پر الزام عائد کیا کہ وہ ذاتی اور سیاسی مفادات کے لیے بی جے پی سے اتحاد کر کے مسلسل اقلیتوں کے مفادات سے غداری کر رہے ہیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ایسے اتحاد نہ صرف ریاست کی سماجی ہم آہنگی کو نقصان پہنچاتے ہیں بلکہ جمہوری اقدار کو بھی کمزور کرتے ہیں۔
وزیرِ اعلیٰ نے اقلیتی فلاح کے حوالے سے کئی اہم اعلانات بھی کیے، جن میں علما اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کے لیے پنشن اور خاندانی پنشن میں اضافہ، اور کوئمبٹور میں ایک اضافی وقف ٹریبونل کے قیام کا فیصلہ شامل ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈی ایم کے کی سیاست محض اقتدار کی نہیں بلکہ اعتماد، احترام اور شمولیت کی سیاست ہے۔
الف نیوز کے مطابق، ایم کے اسٹالن کی یہ تقریر محض ایک انتخابی بیان نہیں بلکہ آنے والے سیاسی معرکے میں سماجی انصاف اور سیکولرزم کے بیانیے کو مرکز میں لانے کی ایک واضح کوشش ہے۔

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin has issued a strong warning that the rise of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to power would pose a serious threat to the progress, social harmony, and secular fabric of Tamil Nadu — a State widely regarded as a model of inclusive development.
Addressing the Mahalla Jamaats Conference organised by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) on the outskirts of Kumbakonam, Mr. Stalin asserted that only the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance possesses the moral strength and political resolve to safeguard the State’s pluralistic identity and democratic values.
The Chief Minister accused the AIADMK and its General Secretary, Edappadi K. Palaniswami, of repeatedly betraying minority interests by aligning with the BJP for narrow political gains. Such alliances, he said, weaken social cohesion and undermine the constitutional promise of equality and justice.
Highlighting his government’s commitment to minority welfare, Mr. Stalin announced an increase in pensions and family pensions for Ulemas and their families, along with the establishment of an additional Waqf Tribunal in Coimbatore. He described these measures as part of a broader vision rooted in dignity, inclusion, and mutual trust.
According to Alif News, Mr. Stalin’s address went beyond routine political rhetoric, reflecting a deliberate effort to frame the forthcoming electoral contest as a choice between secular governance and divisive politics — between collective progress and ideological rigidity.
