مشرقِ وسطیٰ کے افق پر ایک اور خوفناک منظر ابھرا، جب ایران سے داغے گئے بیلسٹک میزائل کے ایک ٹکڑے نے جنوبی اسرائیل کے صنعتی علاقے نیوٹ ہوواف میں ایک کیمیائی کارخانے کو نشانہ بنایا، جس کے نتیجے میں شدید آگ بھڑک اٹھی اور زہریلے مواد کے اخراج کا اندیشہ پیدا ہو گیا۔
اسرائیلی فوج Israel Defense Forces کے مطابق یہ حملہ ایران کی جانب سے ایک ہی دن میں کیے گئے چھٹے میزائل حملے کا حصہ تھا۔ خوش قسمتی سے اس مخصوص مقام پر کوئی جانی نقصان نہیں ہوا، تاہم آگ کی شدت نے قریبی آبادی میں خوف و ہراس پھیلا دیا۔
Neot Hovav کے اس صنعتی زون میں واقع کھاد کے کارخانے میں آگ بھڑکنے کے بعد شہریوں کو گھروں میں رہنے کی ہدایت دی گئی، کیونکہ زہریلے کیمیکلز کے ممکنہ اخراج کا خطرہ لاحق تھا۔ بعد ازاں ماحولیاتی حکام نے صورتِ حال کو قابو میں قرار دیتے ہوئے خطرے کے ٹل جانے کی تصدیق کر دی۔
اسی دوران جنوبی شہر Beersheba میں ایک اور میزائل حملے کے نتیجے میں 11 افراد معمولی زخمی ہوئے، جس سے واضح ہوتا ہے کہ کشیدگی اب صرف عسکری تنصیبات تک محدود نہیں رہی بلکہ شہری زندگی کو بھی اپنی لپیٹ میں لے رہی ہے۔
یہ واقعات اس تلخ حقیقت کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں کہ جدید جنگوں میں سرحدیں اور ہدف دونوں دھندلا جاتے ہیں—جہاں ایک چنگاری نہ صرف آگ بلکہ خوف، غیر یقینی اور انسانی اضطراب کو بھی جنم دیتی ہے۔

A new wave of tension has gripped the Middle East as a fragment of a ballistic missile launched from Iran struck a chemical facility in southern Israel, igniting a major fire and raising fears of a hazardous materials leak.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the strike was part of Iran’s sixth missile attack of the day. While no casualties were reported at the industrial site, the blaze triggered widespread concern among nearby residents.
The incident occurred in the Neot Hovav industrial zone, where a fertilizer plant caught fire following the impact. Authorities instructed civilians to remain indoors amid fears of toxic chemical exposure. Later, environmental officials confirmed that the situation had been brought under control and the risk had subsided.
Meanwhile, another missile struck the southern city of Beersheba, leaving 11 people with minor injuries—underscoring how civilian areas are increasingly caught in the crossfire.
These developments highlight a stark and sobering reality: in modern conflicts, the lines between battlefield and civilian life are fading, and each strike carries not only physical destruction but also deep psychological and environmental consequences.
