غزہ: آخری یرغمالی کی واپسی، امن کی ایک نازک گھڑی

امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے ایک خصوصی انٹرویو میں انکشاف کیا ہے کہ فلسطینی تنظیم حماس نے آخری اسرائیلی یرغمالی ران گویلی کی باقیات تلاش کرنے میں تعاون کیا، جس کے نتیجے میں اب تمام زندہ اور جاں بحق اسرائیلی یرغمالیوں کی واپسی مکمل ہوچکی ہے۔
صدر ٹرمپ کے مطابق یہ مرحلہ ان کے مجوزہ امن منصوبے کے پہلے حصے کی تکمیل کی علامت ہے۔ انہوں نے اس موقع کو “انتہائی کٹھن مگر انسانیت کے لیے اہم” قرار دیا اور کہا کہ لاش کی شناخت کے عمل میں تلاش ٹیموں کو “سینکڑوں لاشوں” سے گزرنا پڑا، جو ایک دل دہلا دینے والا منظر تھا۔
ٹرمپ نے حماس کے کردار پر غیر متوقع انداز میں تبصرہ کرتے ہوئے کہا:
“انہوں نے اس عمل میں بھرپور تعاون کیا، اسرائیل کے ساتھ مل کر کام کیا، اور اپنی ذمہ داری پوری کی۔”
ایک اعلیٰ امریکی عہدیدار نے بھی تصدیق کی کہ حماس نے اس معاہدے کے تحت اپنی ذمہ داری نبھائی جس پر اس نے دستخط کیے تھے۔
اس پیش رفت کے ساتھ ہی اسرائیل نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ رفح کراسنگ کو محدود پیمانے پر دوبارہ کھولا جائے گا، جو غزہ اور مصر کے درمیان ایک اہم زمینی راستہ ہے۔ یہ اقدام بھی امن منصوبے کے پہلے مرحلے کی آخری رکاوٹ سمجھا جا رہا تھا۔
صدر ٹرمپ نے زور دیا کہ اب اگلا مرحلہ غزہ کی غیر عسکریت کاری (Demilitarization) ہے، جس میں حماس کو ہتھیار ڈالنا ہوں گے، اور ایک نیا انتظامی و سلامتی نظام قائم کیا جائے گا۔
“اب وعدہ پورا کرنے کا وقت ہے — حماس کو غیر مسلح ہونا ہوگا۔”
اگرچہ اسرائیل اور خطے میں اس بات پر شکوک موجود ہیں کہ حماس واقعی پرامن طریقے سے ہتھیار ڈال دے گی، مگر ٹرمپ نے یاد دلایا کہ اسی طرح شکوک اس وقت بھی تھے جب یرغمالیوں کی مکمل واپسی کو ناممکن سمجھا جا رہا تھا — اور وہ مرحلہ اب مکمل ہوچکا ہے۔

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that Hamas cooperated in locating the remains of the last Israeli hostage, Ran Gvili, marking the completion of the return of all Israeli hostages — both living and deceased.
In an exclusive interview, Trump described the recovery as a critical milestone in the first phase of his proposed peace framework. He noted that the search and identification process was “extremely difficult,” involving teams combing through hundreds of bodies under harrowing conditions.
In a rare acknowledgment, Trump credited Hamas for its role:
“They worked very hard to get the body back. They cooperated with Israel and fulfilled the obligation they signed up for.”
A senior U.S. official later confirmed that Hamas had been “very cooperative” and had met its commitments under the agreement.
Following this development, Israel announced that it would reopen the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt in a limited capacity — another key step in completing phase one of the deal.
Attention now shifts to phase two, which focuses on the demilitarization of Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas, and the establishment of a new governing and security framework.
“Now we have to disarm Hamas, like they promised,” Trump emphasized.
While skepticism remains in Israel and across the region about whether Hamas will willingly disarm — and whether Israel will allow the process to unfold without renewed escalation — Trump pointed out that similar doubts surrounded the hostage return process, which has now been completed in full.
According to U.S. officials, detailed negotiations on disarmament, potential amnesty mechanisms, and the launch of an International Stabilization Force are expected to begin this week. Reconstruction of Gaza, they stressed, will only follow once demilitarization is achieved.
