امریکی سفارت، اسرائیلی مفاد اور فلسطینی مستقبل

غزہ ایک بار پھر عالمی سفارت کاری کے مرکز میں ہے، مگر سوال یہ ہے کہ کیا یہ مرکز امن ہے یا مفاد؟
امریکی خصوصی ایلچی اسٹیو وٹکوف اور سابق صدر ٹرمپ کے داماد جیرڈ کشنر کی اسرائیلی وزیرِاعظم بن یامین نیتن یاہو سے ملاقات، بظاہر جنگ بندی کو دیرپا امن میں بدلنے کی ایک کوشش کے طور پر پیش کی جا رہی ہے۔ اس ملاقات میں آخری اسرائیلی یرغمالی ران گیولی کی لاش کی واپسی، حماس کی غیر عسکری حیثیت (demilitarization) اور غزہ میں مستقبل کے سیاسی و معاشی ڈھانچے پر گفتگو ہوئی۔

امریکی بیانات میں “امن” ایک بار پھر سیکیورٹی سے مشروط نظر آتا ہے، اور سیکیورٹی کو سرمایہ کاری سے جوڑ دیا گیا ہے۔ جیرڈ کشنر کا یہ تصور کہ غزہ کو “مشرقِ وسطیٰ کی ریویرا” میں بدلا جا سکتا ہے، بظاہر ترقی کی زبان ہے، مگر اس کے پیچھے ایک تلخ سوال چھپا ہے:
کیا تباہ شدہ گھروں، اجڑے خاندانوں اور لاکھوں بے گھر انسانوں کی زمین کو ایک کارپوریٹ خواب میں ڈھالا جا سکتا ہے؟

رفح بارڈر کی مجوزہ بحالی یقیناً انسانی نقطۂ نظر سے ایک مثبت قدم ہے، کیونکہ یہ غزہ کے بیس لاکھ محصور باشندوں کے لیے زندگی کی ایک کھڑکی کھولتی ہے۔ مگر تاریخ ہمیں یہ بھی سکھاتی ہے کہ سرحدوں کی عارضی نرمی اکثر مستقل انصاف کی ضمانت نہیں بنتی۔

ٹرمپ انتظامیہ کا “بورڈ آف پیس” اور اس میں شامل عالمی رہنماؤں کی فہرست سفارتی وزن تو رکھتی ہے، مگر اصل امتحان یہ ہے کہ
کیا فلسطینی عوام کو محض امن کے منصوبوں کا موضوع بنایا جائے گا، یا امن کا فریق بھی تسلیم کیا جائے گا؟

الف نیوز کے نزدیک، غزہ کا مسئلہ صرف اسلحے، سیکیورٹی یا تعمیرِ نو کا نہیں —
یہ وقار، خودمختاری اور انسانی حقِ حیات کا سوال ہے۔
جب تک امن کی میز پر طاقت کے ساتھ انصاف کو نہیں بٹھایا جاتا، ہر منصوبہ ایک اور سیاسی خاکہ بن کر رہ جائے گا۔

US Diplomacy, Israeli Interests, and the Palestinian Future

Gaza has once again moved to the center of global diplomacy — but the real question remains: Is this about peace, or about power?
The meeting between US envoy Steve Witkoff, businessman Jared Kushner, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is being presented as an effort to transform a fragile ceasefire into lasting peace. Discussions reportedly included the recovery of the last Israeli hostage, the demilitarization of Hamas, and Gaza’s political and economic future.

In Washington’s narrative, “peace” continues to be conditional upon security, and security is framed as a prerequisite for investment. Kushner’s vision of rebuilding Gaza into a “Riviera of the Middle East” sounds like the language of development, yet it raises an uncomfortable question:
Can the land of destroyed homes and displaced families be redesigned as a luxury dream without addressing the human tragedy beneath it?

The planned reopening of the Rafah crossing is, from a humanitarian perspective, a meaningful step. For nearly two million Palestinians, it represents a narrow opening in a long siege. Yet history reminds us that temporary access rarely guarantees lasting justice.

The creation of Trump’s so-called “Board of Peace,” backed by dozens of world leaders, adds diplomatic weight. Still, the real test lies elsewhere:
Will Palestinians be treated merely as a problem to be managed, or as a people with agency and rights in shaping peace?

From Alif News’ perspective, Gaza is not just a question of weapons, security frameworks, or reconstruction plans.
It is fundamentally about dignity, self-determination, and the human right to live freely.
Until justice sits beside power at the negotiating table, every peace plan risks becoming yet another political blueprint — detached from the lives it claims to rebuild.
