جَنتر منتر مارچ سے روکے جانے پر پریانکا گاندھی برہم، پولیس پر بدسلوکی کا الزام

نئی دہلی: کانگریس کی رکن پارلیمان پریانکا گاندھی وادرا اُس وقت برہم ہوگئیں جب دہلی پولیس نے انہیں اور دیگر کانگریس کارکنوں و اپوزیشن ارکان کو جَنتر منتر کی جانب مارچ کرنے سے روک دیا۔ یہ احتجاج چیف الیکشن کمشنر گیانیش کمار کے خلاف اپوزیشن کے احتجاج کا حصہ تھا۔

پولیس کی جانب سے راستہ روکے جانے پر پریانکا گاندھی نے کہا، ’’کیا یہی طریقہ ہے؟ آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں کہ یہ لوگ کیا کر رہے ہیں۔‘‘ اس کے کچھ ہی دیر بعد پولیس نے انہیں حراست میں لے لیا اور ایک پولیس بس میں منتقل کردیا۔

حراست میں لیے جانے سے قبل پریانکا گاندھی احتجاجاً سڑک پر لیٹ گئیں اور وہاں سے ہٹنے سے انکار کردیا۔ بعد ازاں خواتین پولیس اہلکار انہیں وہاں سے ہٹا کر پولیس گاڑی میں لے گئیں۔

پریانکا گاندھی نے الزام عائد کیا کہ خواتین پولیس اہلکاروں نے انہیں زمین پر دھکیل دیا اور ان کے جسم پر خراشیں آئیں۔ یہ الزامات پریانکا گاندھی کے اپنے بیان پر مبنی ہیں؛ پولیس کی جانب سے اس دعوے کی آزادانہ تصدیق اس رپورٹ میں موجود نہیں ہے۔

Priyanka Gandhi Angry After Being Stopped From Marching to Jantar Mantar, Alleges Police Misbehaviour

New Delhi: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed anger after Delhi Police stopped her, along with other Congress workers and Opposition MPs, from marching towards Jantar Mantar. The protest was part of the Opposition’s ongoing demonstration against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Reacting to the police action, Priyanka Gandhi said, “Is this the way? You can see what these people are doing.” Shortly afterwards, she was detained by the police and taken away in a police bus.

Before being detained, Priyanka Gandhi lay down on the road in protest and refused to move. Women police personnel subsequently removed her from the spot and took her away in a police vehicle.
