حد بندی بل: دو تہائی اکثریت کے لیے این ڈی اے کی نظریں ڈی ایم کے پر

نئی دہلی: مجوزہ حد بندی (Delimitation) بل پر پارلیمنٹ میں دو تہائی اکثریت حاصل کرنے کی کوششوں کے درمیان تمام نظریں تمل ناڈو کی حکمراں جماعت ڈی ایم کے پر مرکوز ہیں۔ سیاسی حلقوں میں یہ بحث زور پکڑ رہی ہے کہ اگر ڈی ایم کے حکومت کی حمایت کا فیصلہ کرتی ہے تو این ڈی اے کی عددی قوت نمایاں طور پر بڑھ سکتی ہے۔

اطلاعات کے مطابق، ڈی ایم کے کے حمایت کرنے کی صورت میں این ڈی اے کے ارکان کی تعداد 346 تک پہنچ جائے گی، تاہم آئینی ترمیم کے لیے درکار دو تہائی اکثریت حاصل کرنے کے لیے حکومت کو اس کے بعد بھی مزید 14 ارکان کی حمایت درکار ہوگی۔

سیاسی مبصرین کا کہنا ہے کہ ڈی ایم کے کا مؤقف اس پورے معاملے میں فیصلہ کن ثابت ہو سکتا ہے۔ اگرچہ پارٹی نے ماضی میں جنوبی ریاستوں کی نمائندگی میں ممکنہ کمی پر خدشات ظاہر کیے ہیں، لیکن حالیہ دنوں میں مختلف سیاسی قیاس آرائیاں سامنے آئی ہیں۔ دوسری جانب ڈی ایم کے نے عوامی سطح پر یہ مؤقف بھی دہرایا ہے کہ وہ تمل ناڈو کے مفادات پر کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کرے گی۔

حد بندی بل ایک مرتبہ پھر قومی سیاست کا اہم موضوع بن چکا ہے، کیونکہ اس کی منظوری کے لیے حکومت کو نہ صرف اپنی اتحادی جماعتوں بلکہ بعض اپوزیشن جماعتوں کی حمایت بھی درکار ہوگی۔

Delimitation Bill: All Eyes on DMK as NDA Seeks Two-Thirds Majority

New Delhi: The proposed Delimitation Bill has once again become the focus of national politics, with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) looking for the numbers required to secure a two-thirds majority in Parliament. Political attention is now centred on the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), whose stand is seen as potentially crucial.

According to political estimates, if the DMK decides to support the government, the NDA’s strength could rise to 346 members. Even then, the ruling alliance would still require the backing of 14 more members to cross the two-thirds threshold needed for the constitutional amendment.

Political observers believe the DMK’s position could significantly influence the fate of the bill. While the party has consistently expressed concerns that delimitation based on population could adversely affect the representation of southern states, recent political developments have fuelled speculation over its possible role. At the same time, DMK leaders have reiterated that the interests of Tamil Nadu will remain their foremost priority.

The Delimitation Bill is expected to remain at the centre of parliamentary debate, as the government will need support beyond its existing alliance to secure the constitutionally mandated majority.
