ذات پات کا امتیاز ہندو معاشرے پر بدنما داغ ہے: دتاتریہ ہوسابالے

بھوپال، 21 ستمبر 2026 — راشٹریہ سویم سیوک سنگھ کے جنرل سکریٹری دتاتریہ ہوسابالے نے ذات پات کی بنیاد پر امتیاز اور چھوت چھات کو ہندو معاشرے پر ’’بدنما داغ‘‘ قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اس سماجی برائی کا خاتمہ محض قوانین یا وعظ و نصیحت سے ممکن نہیں، بلکہ اس کے لیے ہر فرد کے رویّے میں تبدیلی ناگزیر ہے۔

اتوار کو بھوپال کے لال پریڈ گراؤنڈ میں سنگھ کے رضاکاروں سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ہوسابالے نے کہا کہ انسانوں کے درمیان کسی بھی بنیاد پر امتیاز نہیں ہونا چاہیے۔ ان کے بقول پیدائش کی بنیاد پر تفریق ہندو تہذیب کا حصہ نہیں ہے۔

انہوں نے رامائن میں شَبری کے واقعے کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے سوال اٹھایا کہ جب بھگوان رام نے شَبری کی پیش کردہ بیریاں قبول کیں تو پھر ذات پات کے نام پر کسی انسان کے ساتھ امتیازی سلوک کی گنجائش کیسے پیدا ہوسکتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ذات کے نام پر کسی بھی شخص کے ساتھ ناروا سلوک معاشرے کو کمزور کرتا ہے اور اصلاح کا آغاز دوسروں سے نہیں بلکہ اپنے کردار اور اپنے گھر سے ہونا چاہیے۔

ہوسابالے نے ہندوستان کی طویل تہذیبی تاریخ کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک نے بحرانوں اور مشکلات کے بعد بارہا خود کو سنبھالا ہے۔ ان کے مطابق ہندوستان کی ترقی کا پیمانہ صرف معاشی خوش حالی یا مادی قوت نہیں ہونا چاہیے بلکہ اس بات سے بھی طے ہونا چاہیے کہ ملک پوری انسانیت کے لیے کیا کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ہندوستان کا عروج کسی دوسرے ملک پر غلبہ حاصل کرنے، کسی کو دبانے یا تکبر کے ساتھ دنیا پر اپنی طاقت مسلط کرنے کے لیے نہیں بلکہ انسانیت کی خدمت اور عالمی بھلائی کے لیے ہونا چاہیے۔

ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے حوالے سے بھی ہوسابالے نے کہا کہ صرف عوامی اجتماعات میں قراردادیں منظور کرنے سے ماحول محفوظ نہیں ہوگا۔ اس کے لیے دریاؤں کی صفائی، قدرتی وسائل کا تحفظ اور ماحول دوست طرزِ زندگی کو گھروں، تعلیمی اداروں، کام کی جگہوں، بازاروں اور محلوں میں روزمرہ عمل کا حصہ بنانا ہوگا۔

انہوں نے حالیہ آسام کے سیلاب کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سنگھ سے وابستہ سیوا بھارتی کے رضاکار متاثرہ علاقوں میں امدادی سرگرمیوں کے لیے پہنچے، تاہم ان کے ساتھ نوجوانوں، طلبہ اور معاشرے کے مختلف طبقات نے بھی خدمت میں حصہ لیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک کی خدمت صرف چند تنظیموں کی ذمہ داری نہیں، بلکہ ہر بستی اور ہر گاؤں میں معاشرے کے تمام طبقات کو اس ذمہ داری میں شریک ہونا چاہیے۔

ہوسابالے نے اس خیال کا بھی اظہار کیا کہ ہندوستان کی ترقی ایسی مثال قائم کرے جس میں مادی خوش حالی اور روحانی سکون کے درمیان توازن قائم ہو۔

ان کا یہ بیان ایسے وقت میں سامنے آیا ہے جب تین روز قبل سنگھ کے سربراہ موہن بھاگوت نے اجین میں نوجوانوں کے ایک اجتماع سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انسانی انا اور اقتدار کے احساس پر گفتگو کی تھی۔

Caste discrimination is a blot on Hindu society: Dattatreya Hosabale

Bhopal, September 21, 2026 — Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale has described caste-based discrimination and untouchability as a “blot” on Hindu society, saying that the practices cannot be eliminated through laws and sermons alone and require a change in individual behaviour.

Addressing RSS volunteers at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Sunday, Hosabale said there should be no discrimination among human beings on any ground. He asserted that discrimination based on birth was not part of Hindu culture.

Referring to the episode of Shabari in the Ramayana, Hosabale questioned how discrimination in the name of caste could be practised when Lord Ram accepted the berries offered by Shabari. He said mistreatment of anyone on the basis of caste weakens society and urged people to begin the process of change with their own conduct and within their homes.

Hosabale also spoke about India’s long civilisational history, saying that the country had repeatedly recovered from periods of crisis and conflict. He said India’s progress should not be measured merely by economic or material advancement, but also by the contribution it makes to humanity.

“India is rising,” he said, while stressing that the country’s rise should not be aimed at dominating, exploiting or suppressing others. Instead, he said, India’s progress should contribute to the welfare of humanity.

On environmental protection, Hosabale said that resolutions passed at public forums alone could not safeguard the environment. Conservation, he said, must become part of everyday conduct in homes, schools, workplaces, markets and neighbourhoods. He also urged RSS volunteers to work towards keeping rivers clean and protecting the environment through practical action.

Referring to the recent floods in Assam, he said volunteers of RSS-affiliated Seva Bharati had reached affected areas to assist people. He noted that young people, college students and members of different sections of society had also joined relief efforts, saying that service to the country should involve society as a whole and reach every settlement and village.

Hosabale further said India’s development should demonstrate that material well-being and spiritual happiness can coexist in a balanced manner.

His remarks came three days after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed a gathering of young people in Ujjain, where he spoke about human ego and the perception that everything operates according to one’s own authority.
