نئی دہلی: کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی (سی جے پی) نے حکومت پر طلبہ سے کیے گئے وعدوں کی خلاف ورزی کا الزام عائد کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اب تک طلبہ اور مظاہرین کے خلاف درج مقدمات (ایف آئی آر) واپس لینے اور آئندہ کسی قسم کی کارروائی نہ کرنے کے حوالے سے کوئی تحریری یقین دہانی نہیں دی گئی۔

سی جے پی کے چیف ترجمان سورَو داس نے بتایا کہ حکومت کی دعوت پر ان کی نمائندوں سے ملاقات ہوئی، جہاں انہیں سپریم کورٹ کے عبوری حکم، بالخصوص ہدایت نمبر 4، کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے کہا گیا کہ مقدمات کی تحقیقات جاری رہیں گی کیونکہ معاملہ عدالت میں زیرِ سماعت ہے۔ تاہم جب انہوں نے تحریری ضمانت کا مطالبہ کیا تو حکومت کی جانب سے کوئی واضح جواب نہیں ملا۔

سورَو داس کے مطابق حکومت نے زبانی طور پر یقین دہانی کرائی تھی کہ نہ صرف دہلی بلکہ تمام بی جے پی یا این ڈی اے حکومت والی ریاستوں میں بھی طلبہ کے خلاف درج مقدمات واپس لینے اور مستقبل میں کارروائی نہ کرنے کے وعدے پر عمل کیا جائے گا۔

انہوں نے خبردار کیا کہ اگر حکومت اپنے وعدوں سے پیچھے ہٹی تو یہ "ملک کے نوجوانوں کے ساتھ ایک بڑا دھوکہ” ہوگا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ سی جے پی کسی ایسے فیصلے کو قبول نہیں کرے گی جو طلبہ کے مفادات اور حکومت کی یقین دہانیوں کے خلاف ہو۔

سی جے پی نے واضح کیا کہ اگر طلبہ کو ہراساں کرنے کا سلسلہ جاری رہا اور مقدمات واپس نہ لیے گئے تو دہلی سمیت ملک بھر میں ایک مرتبہ پھر بڑے پیمانے پر پُرامن احتجاج شروع کیا جائے گا۔

سورَو داس نے سوشل میڈیا پر بھی کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ کو سیاسی مقاصد کے لیے استعمال نہیں کیا جانا چاہیے اور اس کے احکامات کی آڑ میں حقیقی طلبہ مظاہرین کو نشانہ بنانا مناسب نہیں۔

اس سے قبل سی جے پی کے ترجمان اشوتوش رانکا اور بانی ابھیجیت دپکے بھی حکومت کو خبردار کر چکے ہیں کہ اگر طلبہ کے خلاف کارروائیاں بند نہ ہوئیں اور ایف آئی آر واپس نہ لی گئیں تو تنظیم دوبارہ ملک گیر احتجاج شروع کرے گی۔

CJP Warns of Nationwide Protest if Government Fails to Provide Written Assurance on Student FIRs

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has alleged that the Union government has yet to provide a written assurance regarding its reported commitment to withdraw FIRs against students and protesters and to refrain from initiating future legal action.

CJP Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das said he met government representatives at their invitation, where officials referred to the Supreme Court’s interim order—particularly Direction No. 4—allowing investigations into the existing FIRs to continue, arguing that the matter is now sub judice. However, according to Das, the government did not respond when asked whether it would issue a written guarantee.

Das claimed that the government had verbally assured the CJP that the commitment would apply not only in Delhi but also in BJP-ruled and NDA-governed states.

Warning of serious consequences, Das said that failure to honour these assurances would amount to a "massive betrayal of the country’s youth.” He reiterated that the organisation would not accept any decision that contradicts the promises allegedly made to students.

The CJP announced that if the FIRs are not withdrawn and students continue to face police action, it will launch another nationwide peaceful protest in Delhi and across several states.

In a post on X, Das also urged that the Supreme Court should not be "politicised” and said its orders should not be used as a tool to target genuine student protesters.

Earlier, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka and founder Abhijeet Dipke had also warned that the organisation would resume nationwide demonstrations if the government failed to honour its assurances regarding the withdrawal of FIRs and protection of student protesters.
