سی جے پی کا احتجاج پھر زور پکڑ گیا، پولیس کارروائی کے باوجود ملک بھر سے طلبہ کی آمد جاری

نئی دہلی: دارالحکومت نئی دہلی میں کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی (CJP) کی قیادت میں جاری طلبہ احتجاج ایک مرتبہ پھر شدت اختیار کر گیا ہے۔ بی بی سی کی تازہ رپورٹ کے مطابق پولیس کی سخت کارروائی، لاٹھی چارج اور متعدد طلبہ کے زخمی ہونے کے باوجود احتجاجی مقام پر لوگوں کی آمد کا سلسلہ جاری ہے، جبکہ مختلف ریاستوں سے نوجوان مسلسل دہلی پہنچ رہے ہیں۔

یہ تحریک تعلیمی اصلاحات، امتحانی نظام میں شفافیت اور مرکزی وزیرِ تعلیم دھرمندر پردھان کے استعفے کے مطالبے پر جاری ہے۔ گزشتہ روز پولیس نے احتجاج ختم کرانے کے لیے طاقت کا استعمال کیا تھا، جس کے نتیجے میں کئی طلبہ زخمی ہوئے اور متعدد کو حراست میں لیا گیا۔

پولیس کارروائی کے بعد تحریک کے اہم رہنما ابھجیت نے انسانی جانوں کے تحفظ کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے اپنی بھوک ہڑتال ختم کرنے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ اس اعلان کے بعد یہ تاثر پیدا ہوا کہ شاید احتجاج کمزور پڑ جائے گا، لیکن رات گئے حالات نے نیا رخ اختیار کیا۔

رات بھر مختلف جامعات اور ریاستوں سے طلبہ دوبارہ جنتر منتر کے قریب جمع ہونا شروع ہوگئے۔ صبح ہوتے ہی احتجاجی مقام پر ہزاروں افراد موجود تھے اور مظاہرین نے اعلان کیا کہ تحریک اپنے مطالبات کی منظوری تک جاری رہے گی۔

بی بی سی کی نمائندہ آزادہ موشیری نے موقع سے رپورٹ کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ احتجاج کا جوش کم ہونے کے بجائے مزید بڑھتا دکھائی دے رہا ہے اور شرکاء کا کہنا ہے کہ پولیس کارروائی نے انہیں خوفزدہ کرنے کے بجائے مزید متحد کر دیا ہے۔

تحریک کو سیاسی سطح پر بھی نئی تقویت ملی ہے۔ منگل کے روز کانگریس پارٹی کے سینئر رہنماؤں نے وزیر اعظم کی رہائش گاہ کے باہر احتجاج کیا اور طلبہ کے مطالبات کی حمایت کا اعلان کیا، جس کے بعد حکومت پر سیاسی دباؤ میں اضافہ دیکھا جا رہا ہے۔

احتجاج کرنے والے طلبہ کا کہنا ہے کہ ان کا مقصد صرف حکومت پر تنقید کرنا نہیں بلکہ ملک کے تعلیمی نظام میں بنیادی اصلاحات لانا ہے تاکہ امتحانات میں بے ضابطگیوں، بے روزگاری اور طلبہ کے مستقبل سے متعلق مسائل کا مستقل حل نکالا جا سکے۔

حکومت کی جانب سے اب تک احتجاج کے بنیادی مطالبات پر کوئی حتمی اعلان سامنے نہیں آیا، تاہم سکیورٹی فورسز احتجاجی مقام پر بدستور تعینات ہیں اور حالات پر گہری نظر رکھی جا رہی ہے۔

CJP Protest Regains Momentum in Delhi as Students Return After Police Crackdown

New Delhi: The student-led protest organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has regained momentum in India’s capital, with hundreds of demonstrators continuing to gather despite a police crackdown that left several students injured.

The movement is demanding major education reforms and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. On the previous day, police used force to disperse protesters, resulting in injuries and several detentions.

Following the crackdown, one of the movement’s prominent leaders, Abhijeet, announced the end of his hunger strike, saying he wanted to prevent further harm to students. The announcement initially created the impression that the protest might lose momentum.

However, late Tuesday night the situation changed dramatically. Students from universities across Delhi and several other Indian states began returning to the protest site. By Wednesday morning, large crowds had once again assembled, declaring that the movement would continue until its demands were addressed.

Reporting from the protest site, BBC correspondent Azadeh Moshiri said the movement’s momentum remains strong, with participants insisting that the police action has strengthened rather than weakened their resolve.

The protest also received a significant political boost after senior leaders of the opposition Congress Party staged a demonstration outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in support of the students, increasing political pressure on the central government.

Protesters say their campaign is aimed not only at seeking accountability but also at pushing for comprehensive reforms in India’s education system, including greater transparency in examinations and better opportunities for students.

While the government has not yet announced any major concessions, security personnel remain deployed around the protest site as authorities continue to monitor the evolving situation closely.
