سونم وانگچک نے بھوک ہڑتال ختم کرنے سے انکار، کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی کا احتجاج جاری رہے گا

نئی دہلی: کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی (CJP) کے نمائندہ وفد نے مرکزی وزیر صحت جے پی نڈا سے ملاقات کرکے ملک میں مسابقتی امتحانات سے متعلق مبینہ بے ضابطگیوں، تعلیمی اصلاحات اور مرکزی وزیر تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان کے استعفے یا برطرفی سمیت اپنے مطالبات پر مشتمل ایک تحریری یادداشت پیش کی۔

یہ ملاقات دہلی میں "چلو پارلیمنٹ” مارچ کے دوران ہوئی، جہاں ہزاروں طلبہ، نوجوان اور مختلف تنظیموں کے کارکن جنتر منتر پر جمع ہوئے۔ مظاہرے کے پیش نظر پارلیمنٹ کے اطراف سکیورٹی کے سخت انتظامات کیے گئے۔

سی جے پی رہنماؤں سورَو داس اور آشوتوش رنکا نے کہا کہ حکومت کو مطالبات سے آگاہ کر دیا گیا ہے، تاہم فی الحال کوئی ٹھوس یقین دہانی نہیں کرائی گئی۔ ان کے مطابق کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی کا احتجاج اس وقت تک جاری رہے گا جب تک مطالبات تسلیم نہیں کیے جاتے۔

ادھر ماحولیاتی کارکن سونم وانگچک نے اپنی 23 روزہ بھوک ہڑتال ختم کرنے کی خبروں کی تردید کرتے ہوئے واضح کیا کہ وہ اپنا احتجاج جاری رکھیں گے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ جب تک احتجاج کرنے والے نوجوان رہنماؤں کو پارلیمنٹ کے ارکان سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں ملتی یا انہیں خود ملاقات کا موقع فراہم نہیں کیا جاتا، وہ اپنی بھوک ہڑتال ختم نہیں کریں گے۔

جے پی نڈا نے ملاقات کو خوشگوار قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ حکومت نے وفد کی تحریری یادداشت وصول کر لی ہے اور مطالبات پر مناسب سطح پر غور کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے مظاہرین سے احتجاج ختم کرنے کی بھی اپیل کی۔

CJP Delegation Meets JP Nadda; Sonam Wangchuk Refuses to End Hunger Strike, Cockroach Janta Party Says Protest Will Continue

New Delhi: A delegation of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) met Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda and submitted a written memorandum demanding education reforms, action over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, and the resignation or removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The meeting took place amid the CJP’s "Chalo Sansad” march in Delhi, where thousands of students, youth groups and supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar before attempting to march towards Parliament. Security was tightened across central Delhi during the protest.

CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka said the government had been informed of all their demands. While Nadda assured them that the issues would be discussed at the appropriate level, no concrete commitment was made. The leaders reiterated that the Cockroach Janta Party’s protest will continue until its demands are accepted.

Meanwhile, education reform activist Sonam Wangchuk denied reports that he had ended his fast and announced that he would continue his hunger strike. He said he would not call off the protest until the student leaders are allowed to meet Members of Parliament or he is permitted to meet them himself.

After the meeting, J.P. Nadda described the discussions as cordial, confirmed that the memorandum had been received, and appealed to the protesters to end their agitation while assuring them that their demands would be considered.
