مرکز کی جانب سے این سی پی آئی پارلیمانی گروپ کو اشارتی قبولیت، ترنمول کانگریس نے جمہوری اقدار پر سوال اٹھا دیے

نئی دہلی، 19 جولائی: پارلیمنٹ کے مانسون اجلاس سے قبل سیاسی ماحول اس وقت مزید گرم ہو گیا جب پارلیمانی امور کے وزیر کرن رجیجو نے ترنمول کانگریس سے الگ ہونے والے اراکین کے نئے پارلیمانی گروپ نیشنل سٹیزنز پارٹی آف انڈیا (این سی پی آئی) کے رہنما کے طور پر سدیپ بندوپادھیائے کو آل پارٹی اجلاس کا دعوت نامہ ارسال کیا۔

اطلاعات کے مطابق ترنمول کانگریس سے الگ ہونے والے بیس ارکانِ پارلیمنٹ نے اسپیکر لوک سبھا سے این سی پی آئی کے پارلیمانی گروپ کے طور پر باضابطہ شناخت کی درخواست کر رکھی ہے۔ تاہم اسپیکر کی جانب سے ابھی تک اس درخواست پر حتمی فیصلہ سامنے نہیں آیا۔

دوسری جانب لوک سبھا سیکریٹریٹ کی جانب سے جاری کردہ نشستوں کی ترتیب میں صرف یہ واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ یہ بیس ارکان اپنی سابق جماعت ترنمول کانگریس کے دیگر ارکان سے الگ نشستوں پر بیٹھیں گے، جبکہ پارلیمانی شناخت کے بارے میں کوئی باضابطہ اعلان نہیں کیا گیا۔

ترنمول کانگریس نے مرکزی حکومت کے اس اقدام پر سخت اعتراض کرتے ہوئے اسے "جمہوریت کا مذاق” قرار دیا ہے۔ پارٹی کے سینئر رہنما ڈیرک اوبرائن نے کہا کہ جب تک اسپیکر کوئی فیصلہ نہیں دیتے، اس نئے گروپ کو الگ جماعت کے طور پر تسلیم کرنا مناسب نہیں۔

ادھر حکومتی ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ چونکہ متعلقہ ارکان خود کو ترنمول کانگریس سے الگ قرار دے چکے ہیں، اس لیے آل پارٹی اجلاس میں انہیں اسی حیثیت سے مدعو کیا گیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق اسپیکر کی جانب سے باضابطہ فیصلہ مناسب وقت پر سامنے آئے گا۔

اسی دوران لوک سبھا سیکریٹریٹ نے ادھو ٹھاکرے دھڑے کے چھ ارکان کے ایکناتھ شندے کی شیو سینا میں انضمام کو منظوری دے دی، جس کے بعد شندے دھڑے کی لوک سبھا میں عددی قوت مزید بڑھ گئی۔

Centre’s Move Suggesting Recognition of NCPI Parliamentary Group Sparks Political Row

New Delhi, July 19: A fresh political controversy has emerged ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament after Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju invited Sudip Bandyopadhyay as the leader of the National Citizens Party of India (NCPI) parliamentary group to Sunday’s all-party meeting.

The development comes after 20 rebel Trinamool Congress MPs informed the Lok Sabha Speaker that they had merged with the NCPI and sought formal recognition as a separate parliamentary group. However, the Speaker has not yet announced a final decision on their request.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has only stated that the 20 MPs will be seated separately from the remaining Trinamool Congress members, without officially recognising them as an independent parliamentary party.

The Trinamool Congress criticised the Centre’s move, calling it a "mockery of democracy.” Senior party leader Derek O’Brien argued that no such recognition should be presumed until the Speaker delivers a formal ruling.

Government sources, however, maintained that the MPs themselves have declared they are no longer members of the Trinamool Congress and are functioning as the NCPI parliamentary group. They added that the Speaker’s decision on official recognition is still under consideration.

In a separate development, the Lok Sabha Secretariat approved the merger of six MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena into the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, strengthening the latter’s position in the Lok Sabha.
