نئی دہلی، 22 جون: آل انڈیا مسلم پرسنل لا بورڈ کی مجلسِ عاملہ کا اہم اجلاس نئی دہلی میں منعقد ہوا جس میں ملک کی موجودہ صورتِ حال، مسلم برادری کو درپیش چیلنجز، مذہبی آزادی، آئینی حقوق اور مختلف ریاستوں میں پیش آنے والے حالیہ واقعات پر تفصیلی غور و خوض کیا گیا۔

اجلاس میں منظور کی گئی قراردادوں میں کہا گیا کہ ملک کے مختلف حصوں، بالخصوص بعض ریاستوں میں مسلمانوں کے خلاف نفرت انگیز مہمات، ہجومی تشدد، مساجد و مدارس کے خلاف کارروائیوں، بلڈوزر مہم، یکساں سول کوڈ کے نفاذ کی کوششوں اور مذہبی معاملات میں مداخلت پر شدید تشویش پائی جاتی ہے۔ بورڈ نے اس صورتِ حال کو جمہوری اقدار، آئینی حقوق اور سماجی ہم آہنگی کے لیے نقصان دہ قرار دیا۔

مجلسِ عاملہ نے فیصلہ کیا کہ مسلمانوں کے خلاف بڑھتے ہوئے امتیازی رویوں، بنیادی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں اور فرقہ وارانہ کشیدگی پر ایک جامع دستاویز تیار کرکے عوام اور ملک کے باشعور طبقات کے سامنے پیش کی جائے گی۔ بورڈ کے مطابق یہ مسئلہ صرف ایک برادری کا نہیں بلکہ ہندوستان کے جمہوری ڈھانچے اور قومی یکجہتی سے جڑا ہوا معاملہ ہے۔

اجلاس میں مدھیہ پردیش ہائی کورٹ کے کمال مولہ مسجد/بھوج شالہ مقدمے سے متعلق فیصلے پر بھی تشویش کا اظہار کیا گیا۔ بورڈ نے کہا کہ یہ فیصلہ تاریخی شواہد اور طویل عرصے سے جاری مذہبی روایت کے برخلاف ہے۔ مجلسِ عاملہ نے سپریم کورٹ میں اس معاملے کو چیلنج کیے جانے کا خیر مقدم کرتے ہوئے مسجد کمیٹی کو ہر ممکن قانونی تعاون فراہم کرنے کا اعلان کیا۔

بورڈ نے مختلف ریاستوں میں "وندے ماترم” کو لازمی قرار دینے کی کوششوں پر بھی اعتراض کرتے ہوئے اسے آئین کے تحت حاصل مذہبی آزادی کے منافی قرار دیا۔ اجلاس میں کہا گیا کہ مذہبی عقائد اور ضمیر کی آزادی کا احترام ہر جمہوری نظام کی بنیاد ہے۔

یکساں سول کوڈ کے موضوع پر بورڈ نے موقف دہرایا کہ ملک کی مذہبی و ثقافتی تنوع کو نظر انداز کرتے ہوئے ایسے قوانین نافذ کرنا مناسب نہیں ہوگا۔ اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ جہاں ضرورت ہوگی وہاں قانونی اور آئینی سطح پر جدوجہد جاری رکھی جائے گی۔

مجلسِ عاملہ نے اعلان کیا کہ مسلمانوں کے آئینی حقوق، مذہبی آزادی، سماجی انصاف اور فرقہ وارانہ ہم آہنگی کے تحفظ کے لیے ملک گیر تحریک شروع کی جائے گی۔ اس مقصد کے لیے ایک خصوصی ایکشن کمیٹی بھی تشکیل دی جا رہی ہے۔

اجلاس کی صدارت بورڈ کے صدر مولانا خالد سیف اللہ رحمانی نے کی جبکہ کارروائی جنرل سکریٹری مولانا فضل الرحیم مجددی نے چلائی۔ ملک بھر سے مجلسِ عاملہ کے اراکین اور مختلف ملی و سماجی تنظیموں کے نمائندوں نے اجلاس میں شرکت کی۔

AIMPLB Announces Nationwide Campaign for Constitutional Rights and Religious Freedom

New Delhi, June 22: The Executive Committee of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) held an important meeting in New Delhi to review the current situation in the country and issues affecting the Muslim community. The meeting discussed concerns related to religious freedom, constitutional rights, social harmony, and recent developments in several states.

According to the resolutions adopted during the meeting, the Board expressed concern over incidents of mob violence, actions against mosques and madrassas, bulldozer demolitions, efforts to impose the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), and other developments affecting the Muslim community. The Executive Committee stated that such trends could have serious implications for constitutional values, democratic institutions, and communal harmony.

The Board decided to prepare and publish a comprehensive document highlighting issues related to communal tensions, alleged violations of fundamental rights, and challenges faced by Muslims. AIMPLB emphasized that the protection of minority rights is closely linked to the health of India’s democratic framework and social cohesion.

The Executive Committee also discussed the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s decision in the Kamal Maula Masjid/Bhojshala case. The Board expressed disagreement with the verdict and welcomed the decision of the mosque committee to challenge it before the Supreme Court. AIMPLB announced that it would extend all possible legal support in the matter.

The meeting also reviewed attempts in some states to make the singing or recitation of “Vande Mataram” compulsory in educational institutions and government-supported madrassas. The Board maintained that issues involving religious beliefs and freedom of conscience should be addressed within the framework of constitutional protections.

On the Uniform Civil Code, AIMPLB reiterated its position that India’s diverse religious and cultural traditions must be respected. The Board stated that it would continue to pursue legal and constitutional remedies wherever necessary.

A major decision of the meeting was the launch of a nationwide movement aimed at safeguarding constitutional rights, religious freedom, social justice, and communal harmony. An action committee is being constituted to coordinate future activities and outreach efforts.

The meeting was chaired by AIMPLB President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, while General Secretary Maulana Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi conducted the proceedings. Senior religious scholars, legal experts, social leaders, and representatives from various organizations across the country participated in the deliberations.
