دہلی: دھرمیندر پردھان کے استعفے تک دھرنا ختم نہ کرنے کا اعلان

کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی (سی جے پی) کے بانی ابھیجیت ڈپکے اور ان کے حامیوں نے دہلی کے جنتر منتر پر اپنا احتجاج دوسرے روز بھی جاری رکھا۔ مظاہرین کا مطالبہ ہے کہ مبینہ نیٹ (NEET) امتحانی بے ضابطگیوں اور پرچہ لیک تنازعے کی اخلاقی ذمہ داری قبول کرتے ہوئے مرکزی وزیرِ تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان مستعفی ہوں۔

احتجاجی مظاہرین نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ وہ وزیرِ تعلیم کے استعفے تک جنتر منتر نہیں چھوڑیں گے، حالانکہ دہلی پولیس نے احتجاج کی مقررہ مدت ختم ہونے کے بعد مقام خالی کرنے کی ہدایت دی ہے۔

سی جے پی کے بانی ابھیجیت ڈپکے نے ملک بھر کے کسانوں سے اپیل کی کہ وہ طلبہ کے ساتھ اظہارِ یکجہتی کے لیے جنتر منتر پہنچیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ جس طرح طلبہ نے کسان تحریک کے دوران کسانوں کا ساتھ دیا تھا، آج طلبہ کو بھی اسی حمایت کی ضرورت ہے۔

ادھر نیٹ کے دوبارہ امتحان میں تقریباً 22 لاکھ طلبہ شریک ہوئے، جبکہ وزیرِ تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان نے امیدواروں سے کہا کہ وہ بلا خوف و اضطراب امتحان دیں اور قومی امتحانی ایجنسی (این ٹی اے) سمیت متعلقہ اداروں پر اعتماد رکھیں۔

احتجاج کے دوران سی جے پی نے الزام لگایا کہ دہلی پولیس نے رات کے وقت احتجاجی مقام کی روشنیاں بند کر دیں اور پانی، خوراک اور بیت الخلا تک رسائی محدود کر دی۔ بعد میں مظاہرین نے بتایا کہ پانی کی فراہمی بحال کر دی گئی اور روشنیاں دوبارہ جلا دی گئیں۔

اتوار کو جنتر منتر پر مظاہرین کی تعداد میں اضافہ دیکھا گیا۔ شرکاء اسٹیل کی تھالیاں اور چمچے بجا کر ’’گو پردھان گو‘‘ کے نعرے لگاتے رہے اور امتحانی نظام میں جوابدہی کا مطالبہ کرتے رہے۔

CJP Protest Continues for Second Day; Demonstrators Demand Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation

New Delhi, June 21:
Supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), led by founder Abhijeet Dipke, continued their protest for a second consecutive day at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities and paper leaks in national examinations, particularly NEET.

The demonstrators have declared that they will not leave the protest site until Mr. Pradhan steps down, despite the Delhi Police directing them to vacate the venue after the official permission period ended.

Abhijeet Dipke appealed to farmers across India to stand in solidarity with students, arguing that students had supported farmers during their protests and now deserved similar support.

Meanwhile, around 2.2 million candidates appeared for the NEET re-examination on Sunday. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan urged students to take the exam without fear or anxiety and expressed confidence in the National Testing Agency (NTA), state governments, district administrations, and the education system.

The CJP also alleged that Delhi Police had temporarily restricted access to lights, water, food, and restroom facilities at the protest site. Protesters later stated that water supply had been restored and the lights were switched back on.

Crowds grew significantly on Sunday, with demonstrators banging steel plates and spoons while chanting slogans such as “Go Pradhan Go” and demanding greater accountability in the examination system.
