شہری اب آن لائن خود اندراج بھی کر سکیں گے

حکومتِ ہند نے مردم شماری 2027 کے عمل کو زیادہ سہل، شفاف اور جدید بنانے کے لیے پہلی مرتبہ سیلف اینیومریشن (Self-Enumeration) یعنی خود اندراج کی سہولت متعارف کرائی ہے، جس کے تحت شہری اپنے گھرانے کی معلومات آن لائن جمع کرا سکیں گے۔

سرکاری ہدایات کے مطابق مردم شماری کے گھر گھر سروے سے قبل ایک مخصوص پندرہ روزہ مدت کے دوران شہری Census of India Self-Enumeration Portal پر جا کر اپنی خاندانی اور رہائشی معلومات درج کر سکیں گے۔ یہ عمل تقریباً 15 سے 20 منٹ میں مکمل کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

آن لائن اندراج کے لیے سب سے پہلے گھر کے سربراہ کا نام، ریاست یا مرکز کے زیر انتظام علاقہ اور موبائل نمبر درج کرنا ہوگا، جس کے بعد موصول ہونے والے او ٹی پی کے ذریعے تصدیق کی جائے گی۔ اس کے بعد ضلع، پن کوڈ، رہائشی مقام اور نقشے پر گھر کی درست نشاندہی درج کی جائے گی۔

فارم میں رہائش، بنیادی سہولیات، گھرانے کی ساخت اور دیگر سماجی و آبادیاتی معلومات سے متعلق سوالات شامل ہوں گے۔ تمام معلومات کی جانچ کے بعد درخواست جمع کرانے پر نظام ایک منفرد سیلف اینیومریشن آئی ڈی (SE ID) جاری کرے گا، جو موبائل یا ای میل پر موصول ہوگی۔

بعد ازاں جب سرکاری مردم شماری اہلکار گھر کا دورہ کرے گا تو شہریوں کو یہی SE ID فراہم کرنا ہوگی تاکہ آن لائن جمع کرائی گئی معلومات کی توثیق اور حتمی اندراج مکمل کیا جا سکے۔

حکام کے مطابق اس نئی سہولت کا مقصد مردم شماری کے عمل میں شہریوں کی براہِ راست شرکت کو فروغ دینا، وقت کی بچت کرنا اور اعداد و شمار کے معیار کو مزید بہتر بنانا ہے۔

Census 2027: Citizens to Submit Household Data Through Online Self-Enumeration

New Delhi, June 1:
In a major step toward digitising the national census process, the Government of India has introduced a Self-Enumeration facility for Census 2027, allowing citizens to submit their household information online before the official door-to-door survey begins.

Under the new system, residents will be able to access the Census Self-Enumeration Portal during a designated 15-day period preceding field enumeration. The online process is expected to take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

Applicants will first register by entering their State or Union Territory, the name of the head of the household, and a mobile number. An OTP-based verification process will then authenticate the registration. Users will also be required to provide location details, including district, PIN code, locality, and the precise location of their residence on an interactive map.

The questionnaire will cover housing conditions, household amenities, family composition, and other demographic information. After reviewing and submitting the form, the system will generate a unique Self-Enumeration ID (SE ID), which will be sent to the applicant via mobile phone or email.

When an official Census Enumerator later visits the residence, the household must provide the SE ID to validate and finalise the census record.

Officials say the initiative is aimed at improving public participation, enhancing data accuracy, and making the census process more efficient through the use of digital technology.
