جمہوری جلوس یا بڑھتا ہوا تناؤ؟ — مغربی بنگال میں JCB جلوسوں پر پابندی

مغربی بنگال میں بڑھتے ہوئے سیاسی اور سماجی تناؤ کے پیشِ نظر انتظامیہ نے JCB مشینوں کے ساتھ نکالے جانے والے جلوسوں پر پابندی عائد کر دی ہے۔ کولکاتا پولیس کمشنر Ajay Kumar Nanda نے اعلان کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ حالات “قابو سے باہر ہونے کے دہانے” تک پہنچ رہے ہیں، جس کے باعث فوری احتیاطی اقدامات ضروری ہو گئے ہیں۔

حکام کے مطابق یہ فیصلہ ریاست میں امن و امان برقرار رکھنے، عوامی تحفظ یقینی بنانے اور جلوسوں یا عوامی اجتماعات کے دوران کسی بھی ممکنہ تصادم یا انتشار کو روکنے کے لیے لیا گیا ہے۔

سیاسی حلقوں میں اس فیصلے پر مختلف ردِّ عمل سامنے آ رہے ہیں۔ بعض مبصرین اسے امن قائم رکھنے کی کوشش قرار دے رہے ہیں، جبکہ ناقدین کا کہنا ہے کہ ایسے اقدامات جمہوری اظہار پر قدغن کے طور پر بھی دیکھے جا سکتے ہیں۔

Amid growing political and social tension in West Bengal, authorities have prohibited processions involving JCB machines across the state. Kolkata Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Nanda stated that the situation was “on the verge of going out of control,” making immediate preventive measures necessary.

Officials said the restriction has been imposed to maintain law and order, ensure public safety, and prevent any disruption or possible clashes during public gatherings and rallies.
