آج کی خبریں چیختی نہیں، سرگوشی کرتی ہیں—اور یہی ان کا سب سے بڑا المیہ ہے۔
کہیں بارش صرف زمین نہیں بہا رہی، انسانوں کے خواب بھی سیلاب میں ڈوب رہے ہیں۔
کہیں مظاہرے صرف سڑکوں پر نہیں، ضمیروں کے اندر بھی برپا ہیں۔
کہیں طاقت کے ایوانوں میں الفاظ گولیوں سے زیادہ مہلک ہو چکے ہیں،
اور کہیں سچ اتنا ننگا ہے کہ آنکھیں چرا لی جاتی ہیں۔

عالمی منظرنامہ آج ایک ایسے کمرے کی مانند ہے
جس میں سب بول رہے ہیں
مگر کوئی سن نہیں رہا۔
انصاف اپنی باری کا منتظر ہے،
اور انسانیت سوالیہ نشان بن کر کھڑی ہے۔

طاقت ور ملکوں کے فیصلے
کمزور قوموں کے نصیب بن رہے ہیں،
اور خبر—جو کبھی روشنی ہوا کرتی تھی—
اب اکثر سایہ بن کر حقیقت کو ڈھانپ لیتی ہے۔

میڈیا کی اس بھیڑ میں
سب سے کمزور آواز
عام انسان کی ہے۔
وہی انسان
جو بم، سیلاب، بھوک اور نفرت
سب کا پہلا شکار بنتا ہے
اور آخری خبر۔

یہ وقت نعرے لگانے کا نہیں
سوچنے کا ہے۔
یہ لمحہ فتوحات گنوانے کا نہیں
زخم گننے کا ہے۔

اگر آج بھی ہم نے
خبر کو انسان سے جدا رکھا،
تو کل تاریخ
ہمیں بھی
ایک بے حس سرخی میں بدل دے گی۔

The Noise of Silence

Today’s news does not scream—it whispers.
And that whisper is its deepest tragedy.

Floods are not only washing away land;
they are erasing human dreams.
Protests are not confined to streets;
they echo within restless consciences.
Words spoken from seats of power
have grown deadlier than weapons,
while truth stands so exposed
that eyes choose to turn away.

The world today resembles a crowded room
where everyone is speaking
but no one is listening.
Justice waits for its turn,
and humanity stands questioned.

Decisions made in powerful capitals become the fate of fragile nations.
News—once a bearer of light—
now often turns into a shadow
concealing reality instead of revealing it.

Amid this overwhelming noise,
the weakest voice remains
that of the common human being
the first victim of bombs, floods, hunger, and hatred, and the last to be remembered.

This is not a time for slogans,
but for reflection.
Not a moment to count victories,
but to acknowledge wounds.

If we continue to separate news from humanity,
history will remember us too—
as nothing more than
another indifferent headline.
