نئی دہلی، 14 اگست: نیشنل اکیڈمی آف لیگل اسٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ (این اے ایل ایس اے آر) یونیورسٹی سے متعلق بار کونسل آف انڈیا کے چیئرمین منان مشرا کے مبینہ متنازع فیصلے کو شدید مخالفت کے بعد چند ہی گھنٹوں میں واپس لیے جانے پر سول جسٹس پلیٹ فارم سے وابستہ ابھیجیت دپکے نے سخت ردِعمل ظاہر کیا ہے۔

ابھیجیت دپکے نے الزام عائد کیا کہ این اے ایل ایس اے آر کے طلبہ سے متعلق فیصلہ سامنے آنے کے بعد احتجاج کی وارننگ دی گئی اور اس کے تقریباً ایک گھنٹے کے اندر ہی فیصلہ واپس لے لیا گیا۔ ان کے مطابق یہ واقعہ اس بات کی علامت ہے کہ عوامی اور سماجی دباؤ کے سامنے متعلقہ اداروں کو اپنے فیصلے پر نظرثانی کرنا پڑی۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اختلافِ رائے رکھنے والوں کے خلاف کارروائی یا ان کے مستقبل کو نقصان پہنچانے کی ذہنیت جمہوری معاشرے کے لیے تشویش ناک ہے۔ تاہم، اس معاملے میں بار کونسل آف انڈیا یا منان مشرا کا مؤقف بھی سامنے آنا ضروری ہے تاکہ تمام پہلو واضح ہوسکیں۔

سوربھ داس کے معاملے پر بھی اظہارِ تشویش

ابھیجیت دپکے نے سوربھ داس کے استعفے کے مطالبے کے حوالے سے کہا کہ اس سلسلے میں دستیاب معلومات ابھی مکمل طور پر واضح نہیں ہیں اور مزید حقائق جمع کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے الزام لگایا کہ قانون کے طلبہ کے لیے کام کرنے والے سوربھ داس کو غیر ضروری طور پر نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے۔

انہوں نے ذاتی دباؤ اور خاندان کو ہراساں کیے جانے کو بھی نامناسب قرار دیا اور کہا کہ اختلاف یا انتظامی تنازع کو ذاتی سطح تک لے جانا درست نہیں۔

دیہی اسکولوں کی بنیادی سہولتوں کے لیے 15 اگست سے مہم

ابھیجیت دپکے نے اعلان کیا کہ دیہی اسکولوں میں بنیادی سہولتوں کے فقدان کے خلاف 15 اگست سے مہم شروع کی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ یومِ آزادی کے موقع پر خود اپنے آبائی گاؤں، ہنگولی، پہنچ کر اس مہم کا آغاز کریں گے۔

ان کے مطابق دیہی اسکولوں میں معیاری میز و کرسیاں، صاف ستھرے بیت الخلاء، پینے کا صاف پانی، بجلی اور دیگر ضروری سہولتیں فراہم کی جانی چاہئیں۔ ان کی ٹیم کے ارکان بھی ملک کے مختلف علاقوں میں اپنے اپنے گاؤں پہنچ کر سرپنچوں اور مقامی باشندوں سے اس مسئلے پر گفتگو کریں گے۔

’’ہر بچے کو معیاری تعلیم ملنا ہی آزادی کا حقیقی مفہوم ہے‘‘

دپکے نے یومِ آزادی کے تناظر میں کہا کہ ترنگا ریلیاں اور دیگر تقریبات اپنی جگہ اہم ہیں، لیکن آزادی کا حقیقی مفہوم اس وقت مکمل ہوگا جب ملک کے ہر گاؤں کے بچے اور بچی کو مناسب سہولتوں کے ساتھ معیاری تعلیم حاصل ہو۔

انہوں نے حکومت کی توجہ دیہی تعلیم کے ساتھ سڑکوں اور اسکولوں کی بنیادی سہولتوں کی جانب بھی مبذول کرائی۔ این اے ایل ایس اے آر معاملے میں بار کونسل کے فیصلے، اس پر ہونے والی مخالفت اور پھر فیصلے کی واپسی نے بار کونسل آف انڈیا کی موجودہ حکمتِ عملی پر نئی بحث چھیڑ دی ہے۔

NALSAR Row: BCI Withdraws Controversial Decision Within Hours; Abhijit Dipke Criticises Manan Mishra

New Delhi, August 14: The Bar Council of India’s reported decision concerning students of the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) was withdrawn within hours following strong opposition, prompting sharp criticism from Abhijit Dipke of the Civil Justice Platform.

Dipke alleged that the decision was withdrawn within about an hour after a warning of protest was issued. He described the episode as an indication that public pressure and criticism had forced the concerned authorities to reconsider their position.

He also criticised what he described as a tendency to target or intimidate people who raise objections. However, the position of the Bar Council of India and its Chairman Manan Mishra would be necessary to establish the full facts and circumstances surrounding the decision.

Dipke Raises Concerns Over Saurabh Das Issue

Commenting on demands seeking the resignation of Saurabh Das, Dipke said that information currently circulating on social media was being examined and that the exact reasons behind the controversy were not yet clear.

He alleged that Das was being unnecessarily targeted despite his work for law students. Dipke also opposed any attempt to put pressure on Das or his family at a personal level, describing such tactics as inappropriate.

Campaign for Rural Schools to Begin on August 15

Dipke also announced a campaign demanding better basic facilities in rural schools from August 15. He said he would personally travel to his native village in Hingoli on Independence Day to launch the initiative.

The campaign will focus on essential facilities such as proper desks and benches, clean toilets, drinking water, electricity and other basic requirements in village schools. According to Dipke, members of his team will also visit their respective villages across the country and engage with sarpanches and local residents on the issue.

‘Quality Education for Every Child Is the True Meaning of Freedom’

Reflecting on the meaning of Independence Day, Dipke said that national celebrations and Tricolour rallies were important, but the country’s progress would remain incomplete unless children in every village had access to quality education with adequate facilities.

He also called for greater attention to rural education, roads and school infrastructure.

The controversy surrounding the BCI’s decision in the NALSAR matter, the subsequent opposition and its withdrawal within hours has triggered fresh discussion over the functioning and decision-making of the Bar Council of India.
