نئی دہلی: کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی (سی جے پی) نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ وہ جلد ایک خصوصی ویب سائٹ متعارف کرائے گی، جس کے ذریعے پارلیمنٹ مارچ کے دوران مظاہرین پر مبینہ طاقت کے استعمال میں ملوث پولیس اہلکاروں کی شناخت کی جائے گی۔ پارٹی کا کہنا ہے کہ ہر ایسے اہلکار کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کرانے کی کوشش کی جائے گی، اور اگر دہلی پولیس نے کارروائی سے انکار کیا تو عدالت سے رجوع کیا جائے گا۔
جمعہ کو نئی دہلی میں منعقدہ پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے سی جے پی کے ترجمان سورَو داس نے کہا کہ ملک بھر کے وکلاء اس قانونی جدوجہد میں مظاہرین کا ساتھ دینے کے لیے تیار ہیں۔
غیر ملکی فنڈنگ کے الزامات کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر تحریک کو بیرونی سرپرستی حاصل ہوتی تو حکومت خود اس کے نمائندوں اور سونم وانگچک سے مذاکرات کیوں کرتی۔
پارٹی نے تحریک کے خلاف دائر عوامی مفاد کی درخواستوں (پی آئی ایل) پر بھی تشویش ظاہر کرتے ہوئے عدلیہ سے اپیل کی کہ وہ ایسے معاملات کو سیاسی مقاصد کے لیے استعمال ہونے سے روکے اور نوجوانوں کے جمہوری حقوق کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنائے۔
سی جے پی کی ترجمان رتنا سنگھ نے الزام عائد کیا کہ پارلیمنٹ مارچ کے دوران بڑی تعداد میں نوجوانوں کو حراست میں لیا گیا اور بعض مقامات پر وکلاء کو بھی زیر حراست افراد سے ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں دی گئی۔ انہوں نے پولیس سے مطالبہ کیا کہ وہ قانون کے مطابق رویہ اختیار کرے۔
پارٹی کے بانی ابھیجیت دیپکے نے کہا کہ احتجاجی تحریک اب پہلے سے زیادہ وسیع ہو چکی ہے اور ملک بھر کے نوجوان اس میں شامل ہو رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مطالبہ کیا کہ مظاہرین کے خلاف درج تمام مقدمات واپس لیے جائیں اور سابق وزیر تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان کے استعفے تک تحریک جاری رہے گی۔
انہوں نے سماجی کارکن سونم وانگچک کی حمایت پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کی 26 روزہ بھوک ہڑتال کا اختتام حکومت کی بعض تحریری یقین دہانیوں کے بعد ممکن ہوا، جن میں غیر پرتشدد طلبہ کے خلاف مقدمات واپس لینے اور مبینہ امتحانی بے ضابطگیوں سے متاثرہ خاندانوں کے لیے معاوضے پر غور کرنے کا وعدہ شامل ہے۔
سی جے پی نے بتایا کہ حکومت کے ساتھ آئندہ مذاکرات آئین کلب میں ہوں گے، جہاں تنظیم اپنے بنیادی مطالبات، جن میں ذمہ داران کے خلاف کارروائی، متاثرہ خاندانوں کے لیے معاوضہ اور بے گناہ مظاہرین پر درج مقدمات کی واپسی شامل ہے، دوبارہ پیش کرے گی۔

CJP to Launch Website to Identify Police Personnel Accused of Using Excessive Force on Protesters

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced that it will launch a dedicated website to help identify police personnel allegedly involved in using excessive force against demonstrators during the Parliament March. The organisation said it would seek the registration of FIRs against those identified and move the courts if the Delhi Police refuses to act.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said lawyers from across India had extended legal support to the movement and would assist protesters in pursuing accountability.

Rejecting allegations that the agitation is backed by foreign funding, Mr. Das questioned why the government would engage in dialogue with both CJP representatives and social activist Sonam Wangchuk if such claims were true.

The organisation also criticised Public Interest Litigations seeking investigations into the protest, urging the judiciary not to allow legal processes to be used for political purposes and to safeguard the democratic rights of young citizens.

CJP spokesperson Ratna Singh alleged that several students were detained during the Parliament March and claimed that, in some instances, lawyers were prevented from meeting those in custody. She appealed to the police to act within the framework of the law.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the movement had expanded significantly and now enjoyed nationwide participation. He reiterated the demand that all cases registered against protesters be withdrawn and asserted that the campaign would continue until former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation demand was addressed.

Mr. Dipke also welcomed Sonam Wangchuk’s decision to end his 26-day hunger strike, stating that it followed written assurances from the government regarding the withdrawal of cases against non-violent students and consideration of compensation for families affected by the alleged examination irregularities.

CJP leaders said the next round of talks with the government would be held at the Constitution Club, where they would once again press their core demands, including action against those responsible, compensation for affected families, and the withdrawal of cases against innocent protesters.
