مودی حکومت کے لیے نیا سیاسی امتحان

نئی دہلی: بھارت میں تعلیمی امتحانات کے پرچوں کے مبینہ افشا ہونے کے معاملے پر شروع ہونے والی طلبہ تحریک اب ایک وسیع عوامی احتجاج کی شکل اختیار کر چکی ہے۔ "کاکروچ جنتا پارٹی” (CJP) کے نام سے سرگرم نوجوانوں کی اس تحریک میں ہزاروں طلبہ نئی دہلی سمیت مختلف شہروں میں سڑکوں پر نکل آئے ہیں اور مرکزی وزیرِ تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان کے استعفے کا مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں۔

احتجاج کا آغاز جون کے اوائل میں ہوا تھا، تاہم حالیہ دنوں میں اس وقت شدت آ گئی جب مظاہرین پارلیمنٹ کی جانب مارچ کرنے لگے۔ پولیس نے انہیں روکنے کے لیے آنسو گیس کے گولے داغے اور لاٹھی چارج کیا۔ دہلی پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ جھڑپوں میں اس کے متعدد اہلکار زخمی ہوئے، جبکہ مظاہرین نے پولیس پر ضرورت سے زیادہ طاقت استعمال کرنے کا الزام عائد کیا ہے۔

سی جے پی کی بنیاد سیاسی حکمتِ عملی کے طالب علم ابھیجیت ڈپکے نے ایک طنزیہ آن لائن مہم کے طور پر رکھی تھی، لیکن مختصر عرصے میں یہ نوجوانوں کی ایک مؤثر احتجاجی تحریک بن گئی۔ تحریک کو سوشل میڈیا پر غیر معمولی پذیرائی ملی، اگرچہ اس کے بعض آن لائن اکاؤنٹس معطل بھی کیے گئے۔

طلبہ کا کہنا ہے کہ امتحانی نظام میں بدعنوانی، مسلسل پرچہ افشا ہونے کے واقعات، بے روزگاری اور محدود معاشی مواقع نے نوجوان نسل میں شدید مایوسی پیدا کر دی ہے۔ ان کے مطابق یہ احتجاج صرف ایک امتحان کا مسئلہ نہیں بلکہ ملک کے تعلیمی اور روزگار کے نظام پر اعتماد کی بحالی کی جدوجہد ہے۔

کانگریس کے رہنما اور قائدِ حزبِ اختلاف راہل گاندھی نے بھی طلبہ کے مطالبات کی حمایت کرتے ہوئے حکومت سے جوابدہی کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ گزشتہ برسوں میں متعدد امتحانی پرچے افشا ہونے سے کروڑوں طلبہ متاثر ہوئے ہیں۔ حکمراں بھارتیہ جنتا پارٹی نے ان دعوؤں کی تحقیقات کرانے کی بات کہی ہے۔

مرکزی وزیرِ تعلیم دھرمیندر پردھان نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت امتحانی بے ضابطگیوں کے معاملے پر پارلیمنٹ میں بحث اور نوجوانوں کے حقیقی خدشات کے ازالے کے لیے تیار ہے۔

سیاسی مبصرین کے مطابق یہ احتجاج صرف تعلیمی اصلاحات تک محدود نہیں رہا بلکہ نوجوانوں میں روزگار، معاشی امکانات اور حکومتی کارکردگی سے متعلق بڑھتی ہوئی بے چینی کی علامت بنتا جا رہا ہے۔ مختلف علاقائی جماعتوں اور کسان تنظیموں کی حمایت ملنے سے اس تحریک کی سیاسی اہمیت میں مزید اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

Gen Z-Led CJP Protests Over Exam Leaks Pose Fresh Challenge for Modi Government

New Delhi: Student protests over alleged examination paper leaks have grown into a nationwide movement in India, with thousands of young people gathering in New Delhi and several other cities under the banner of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The protesters are demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and greater accountability in the country’s examination system.

The movement, which began in early June, intensified this week after demonstrators attempted to march toward Parliament. Police used tear gas and baton charges to stop the march, leading to clashes. Delhi Police said several personnel were injured, while protesters accused the authorities of using excessive force.

Founded by political communications student Abhijeet Dipke as an online satirical initiative, the CJP has rapidly evolved into a significant youth-led protest movement with a strong social media presence, despite the suspension of some of its online accounts.

Protesters argue that repeated examination paper leaks, rising youth unemployment and limited economic opportunities have eroded confidence in India’s education system. They say the movement is not only about a single examination but about restoring fairness, transparency and trust for millions of students.

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi has backed the protesters, alleging that repeated exam paper leaks over the past decade have affected millions of students. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said those claims will be examined.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that the government is prepared to discuss the issue in Parliament and address the legitimate concerns of students.

Political analysts believe the protests have evolved beyond the issue of examination irregularities and now reflect wider concerns among India’s youth over employment, economic mobility and governance. Support from several regional political parties and farmers’ organisations has further increased the movement’s political significance.
