New Delhi — Mahmood Madani, president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, has expressed concern over what he described as a growing sense of insecurity among many Muslims in India, saying that people increasingly feel “cornered, unsafe, and humiliated.”

Speaking to a news agency, Madani stated that this sentiment is not the result of any single incident but rather emerges from a broader pattern of developments and perceptions over time. He pointed to what he يرى as inconsistencies in the functioning of certain institutions, including administrative and law enforcement bodies.
