نئی دہلی میں سیاسی ماحول اس وقت مزید گرم ہو گیا جب کانگریس کے سینئر رہنما Pawan Khera نے دعویٰ کیا کہ پارٹی کے مرکزی دفتر 24 اکبر روڈ اور یوتھ کانگریس کے دفتر کو نوٹس جاری کیا گیا ہے۔ ان کے مطابق حکومت عوامی مسائل سے توجہ ہٹانے کے لیے اپوزیشن کو نشانہ بنا رہی ہے۔
پون کھیڑا نے کہا کہ ملک کے اصل مسائل مہنگائی، ایل پی جی کی قیمتیں، پٹرول و ڈیزل کے بڑھتے دام اور کسانوں کی خراب حالت ہیں۔ انہوں نے خاص طور پر باسمتی چاول، ہلدی، انگور، کیلے اور گرم مصالحہ کے کسانوں کی مشکلات کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ شعبے شدید بحران کا شکار ہیں۔
انہوں نے الزام لگایا کہ حکومت ان بنیادی مسائل پر توجہ دینے کے بجائے اپوزیشن کی آواز دبانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے، تاکہ نہ سوال اٹھائے جا سکیں، نہ پریس کانفرنس ہو اور نہ ہی احتجاج۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ تمام تر دباؤ کے باوجود کانگریس اپنی آواز بلند کرتی رہے گی۔

The political atmosphere in New Delhi has intensified after senior Congress leader Pawan Khera stated that notices have been issued to the party’s headquarters at 24 Akbar Road and the Youth Congress office. He alleged that the government is attempting to divert attention from pressing public issues by targeting the opposition.
Khera emphasized that the country’s real priorities include rising inflation, high LPG prices, increasing petrol and diesel costs, and the worsening condition of farmers. He specifically highlighted the struggles faced by farmers dealing with basmati rice, turmeric, grapes, bananas, and spices, stating that these sectors are currently under severe stress.
He further accused the government of trying to silence opposition voices to prevent questions, press conferences, and protests. Despite these challenges, he asserted that the Congress will continue to raise its voice against the issues affecting the public.
