آٹھ اسلامی ممالک کی اسرائیل کی مذمت

مقدس شہر یروشلم میں واقع مسجدِ اقصیٰ کی مسلسل بارہ دن سے جاری بندش نے عالمِ اسلام میں گہری تشویش پیدا کر دی ہے۔ رمضان المبارک کے مقدس ایام میں عبادت گاہ کے دروازے بند کیے جانے پر آٹھ عرب و اسلامی ممالک نے اسرائیل کے اقدام کی شدید مذمت کی ہے۔

قطر، اردن، انڈونیشیا، ترکیہ، پاکستان، سعودی عرب، مصر اور متحدہ عرب امارات کے وزرائے خارجہ نے ایک مشترکہ بیان میں کہا ہے کہ مسجدِ اقصیٰ تک فلسطینیوں کی رسائی محدود کرنا اور یروشلم کے قدیم شہر میں عبادت گاہوں تک آنے جانے پر پابندیاں عائد کرنا بین الاقوامی قانون اور انسانی اصولوں کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے۔

بیان میں اس بات پر زور دیا گیا کہ مقبوضہ یروشلم اور اس کے اسلامی و مسیحی مقدسات پر اسرائیل کی کوئی خودمختاری تسلیم نہیں کی جا سکتی۔ وزرائے خارجہ نے مطالبہ کیا کہ اسرائیل فوری طور پر مسجدِ اقصیٰ کے دروازے کھولے اور مسلمانوں کو بلا رکاوٹ عبادت کی اجازت دی جائے۔

بیان کے مطابق مسجدِ اقصیٰ کا پورا احاطہ مسلمانوں کے لیے مخصوص ہے اور اس کی انتظامی نگرانی اردن کی وزارتِ اوقاف کے تحت قائم یروشلم وقف ادارے کے پاس ہے، جو اس مقدس مقام کا قانونی متولی سمجھا جاتا ہے۔

فلسطینی وزارتِ خارجہ نے بھی اس بندش کو فلسطینی عوام کے بنیادی مذہبی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزی قرار دیا ہے، جبکہ مختلف فلسطینی گروہوں نے خبردار کیا ہے کہ یہ اقدام تاریخ میں ایک خطرناک مثال قائم کر سکتا ہے۔

رمضان کی راتوں میں جب دنیا بھر کی مساجد میں سجدوں کی صدائیں بلند ہوتی ہیں، تب القدس کے اس مقدس مقام کی بند دروازوں والی خاموشی ایک سوال بن کر ابھرتی ہے:
کیا عبادت کی آزادی بھی سیاست کی دیواروں میں قید ہو سکتی ہے؟

Eight Muslim Nations Condemn Closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Restrictions During Ramadan Draw Global Concern

The continued closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem for the twelfth consecutive day during the holy month of Ramadan has triggered widespread concern across the Muslim world.

In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, Indonesia, Türkiye, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates strongly condemned Israel’s restrictions on Palestinian access to the Old City of Jerusalem and its holy sites.

The ministers described the move as a “flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law,” stressing that such measures undermine the historical and legal status quo governing the holy sites of Jerusalem.

They also reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem or its Islamic and Christian sacred places, and called on Israeli authorities to immediately reopen the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and remove restrictions preventing Muslim worshippers from reaching the site.

The statement further emphasised that the entire Al-Aqsa Mosque compound is exclusively a Muslim place of worship, and that the Jerusalem Waqf Administration, affiliated with Jordan’s Ministry of Awqaf, holds the legitimate custodianship over the site.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also denounced the closure as a blatant violation of Palestinian rights, while Palestinian groups warn that such actions risk creating a dangerous historical precedent affecting the freedom of worship.

During Ramadan, when mosques around the world resonate with prayer and devotion, the silent gates of Al-Aqsa stand as a troubling reminder that sacred spaces too can become arenas of political struggle.
