دیہرادون میں ایک تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے Mohan Bhagwat نے ملک بھر میں Uniform Civil Code نافذ کرنے کی حمایت کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ سماج کو متحد کرنے کے لیے یکساں سول کوڈ ضروری ہے اور اسے اتراکھنڈ کے ماڈل کی طرز پر پورے ملک میں نافذ کیا جانا چاہیے۔
یہ بیان Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh کی صد سالہ تقریبات کے سلسلے میں سابق فوجیوں کی ایک نشست کے دوران سامنے آیا۔
واضح رہے کہ Uttarakhand یکساں سول کوڈ نافذ کرنے والی پہلی ریاست ہے۔
جب ان سے سپریم کورٹ میں زیرِ سماعت یو جی سی ضوابط کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا تو انہوں نے تبصرہ کرنے سے انکار کیا اور کہا کہ معاملہ عدالت میں ہے۔
یہ بیان ایسے وقت میں سامنے آیا ہے جب ملک میں یکساں سول کوڈ پر سیاسی اور سماجی بحث تیز ہو رہی ہے، خاص طور پر مذہبی آزادی اور شخصی قوانین کے تناظر میں۔

Bhagwat Advocates Nationwide Uniform Civil Code
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has supported the nationwide implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, stating that it is essential for unifying society.
Speaking at an event in Dehradun marking the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he said the UCC should be implemented across the country on the lines of the model adopted by Uttarakhand, the first State to introduce it.
When asked about UGC regulations currently stayed by the Supreme Court, he declined to comment, citing that the matter is sub judice.
The remarks come amid continuing national debate over the implications of a Uniform Civil Code on religious freedom, personal laws, and constitutional guarantees.
