چنئی — تمل ناڈو کی سیاست میں کشیدگی اور اختلاف کے بادلوں کے درمیان مفاہمت کی ایک نئی کرن نمودار ہوئی ہے۔ ریاستی اسمبلی کے اسپیکر جے سی ڈی پربھاکر نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ اے آئی اے ڈی ایم کے 25 باغی اراکین میں سے 21 کے خلاف نااہلی کی کارروائی ختم کر دی گئی ہے، کیونکہ پارٹی کے جنرل سیکریٹری ایڈاپڈی کے. پلانی سوامی نے ان کے طرزِ عمل کو باضابطہ طور پر معاف کر دیا ہے۔

تاہم سیاسی منظرنامے میں آنے والی تبدیلیوں کے بعد پلانی سوامی نے متعدد خطوط کے ذریعے 21 اراکین کے رویے کو معاف کرتے ہوئے ان کے خلاف کارروائی نہ کرنے کی درخواست کی۔ اسپیکر نے اسمبلی قواعد کا جائزہ لینے کے بعد ان اراکین کے خلاف تمام کارروائیاں ختم کرنے کا اعلان کر دیا۔

دوسری جانب چار سابق وزراء اور ارکانِ اسمبلی — مراگاتم کماراویل، ایس جے کمار، پی ستیاباما اور ایساکی سوبیا — کے خلاف کارروائی جاری رہے گی، کیونکہ وہ نہ صرف مستعفی ہوئے بلکہ بعد میں تملگا ویتری کزگم (TVK) میں بھی شامل ہو گئے۔ اسپیکر کے مطابق ان کے معاملے میں فیصلہ بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔

سیاسی مبصرین اس پیش رفت کو اے آئی اے ڈی ایم کے اندرونی اختلافات کو ختم کرنے اور پارٹی اتحاد کو بحال کرنے کی ایک اہم کوشش قرار دے رہے ہیں۔ بظاہر یہ اقدام ایک ایسے وقت میں سامنے آیا ہے جب تمل ناڈو کی سیاست نئی صف بندیوں اور بدلتے ہوئے اتحادوں کے مرحلے سے گزر رہی ہے۔

Action Against 21 Rebel AIADMK Legislators Withdrawn, Proceedings Continue Against Four

Chennai — Amid months of political turbulence within the AIADMK, a significant gesture of reconciliation has reshaped the party’s internal landscape. Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker J.C.D. Prabhakar has announced that disqualification proceedings against 21 of the 25 rebel AIADMK legislators have been dropped after party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami formally condoned their actions.

The controversy began during the confidence vote for Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s government on May 13, when 25 AIADMK legislators voted contrary to the party whip. The move triggered demands for their disqualification under India’s anti-defection law.

However, subsequent developments altered the course of events. Palaniswami submitted separate communications forgiving the actions of 21 legislators and requested that no further action be taken against them. After examining the relevant Assembly rules and constitutional provisions, the Speaker decided to close the proceedings against those members.

The situation remains different for four legislators — Maragatham Kumaravel, S. Jayakumar, P. Sathyabama, and Esaki Subaya — who resigned from the AIADMK and later joined the TVK. Proceedings against them have already been initiated, and a final decision is expected at a later stage.

Political observers view this development as an attempt to restore unity within the AIADMK following a period of sharp internal divisions.
