کانگریس کا دعویٰ: پاکستانی حکام اور سابق آئی ایس آئی افسر سے بند کمرے میں ملاقات ہوئی

حکومت، آر ایس ایس اور رام مادھو کی جانب سے تاحال کوئی باضابطہ تصدیق یا ردِعمل سامنے نہیں آیا۔

نئی دہلی: بھارت کی سیاست میں اس وقت ایک نئی بحث نے جنم لے لیا ہے جب کانگریس نے آر ایس ایس کے سینئر رہنما رام مادھو پر الزام عائد کیا ہے کہ انہوں نے رواں ہفتے سری لنکا کے دارالحکومت کولمبو کے ایک ہوٹل میں پاکستانی حکام اور سابق آئی ایس آئی کے ایک اعلیٰ عہدیدار سے بند کمرے میں ملاقات کی۔
کانگریس نے مرکزی حکومت سے سوال کیا ہے کہ اگر حکومت کا مؤقف یہ ہے کہ "دہشت گردی اور مذاکرات ساتھ ساتھ نہیں چل سکتے” تو پھر مبینہ طور پر ایسی پس پردہ ملاقاتوں کی ضرورت کیوں پیش آئی۔ اپوزیشن نے آپریشن سندھور کے دوران جان کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے والے بھارتی فوجیوں کی قربانیوں کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا کہ اگر کسی نوعیت کے سفارتی رابطے ہوئے ہیں تو عوام کو اس بارے میں شفاف انداز میں آگاہ کیا جائے۔
تاہم اب تک حکومتِ ہند، آر ایس ایس یا رام مادھو کی جانب سے ان الزامات کی نہ تو باضابطہ تصدیق کی گئی ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی تفصیلی وضاحت جاری ہوئی ہے۔ اس لیے یہ معاملہ فی الحال صرف سیاسی الزامات اور جوابی بیانات تک محدود ہے۔
سیاسی مبصرین کے مطابق اس تنازع نے ایک بار پھر بھارت کی پاکستان پالیسی، بیک چینل سفارت کاری اور قومی سلامتی سے متعلق مباحث کو نئی شدت دے دی ہے۔

New Delhi: A fresh political controversy has erupted in India after the Congress party alleged that senior RSS leader Ram Madhav held a closed-door meeting earlier this week at a hotel in Colombo with Pakistani officials and a former senior ISI officer.
Questioning the BJP-led central government, Congress asked why such alleged backchannel engagements would take place when the government’s stated position has consistently been that "terror and talks cannot go together.” The opposition also referred to the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers during Operation Sindoor, demanding greater transparency if any diplomatic outreach with Pakistan has indeed taken place.
As of now, however, these remain political allegations. Neither the Government of India, the RSS, nor Ram Madhav has officially confirmed or responded in detail to the claims.
Political observers say the controversy has reignited debate over India’s Pakistan policy, the role of backchannel diplomacy, and the need for transparency in matters related to national security and foreign policy.
