Balochistan Liberation Army (بی ایل اے) نے پاکستان کے صوبہ بلوچستان میں حالیہ خونریز اور ہم آہنگ حملوں کی ذمہ داری قبول کرتے ہوئے دو خودکش حملہ آوروں کی تصاویر جاری کی ہیں، جن میں دونوں خواتین ہیں۔ ان میں سے ایک کی شناخت 24 سالہ آصفہ مینگل کے طور پر کی گئی ہے۔

بی ایل اے کے مطابق آصفہ مینگل، محمد اسماعیل کی صاحبزادی اور ضلع نوشکی کی رہائشی تھیں۔ ان کی پیدائش 2 اکتوبر 2002 کو ہوئی اور انہوں نے اپنی اکیسویں سالگرہ کے موقع پر تنظیم کے ماجد بریگیڈ میں شمولیت اختیار کی۔ بیان کے مطابق جنوری 2024 میں انہوں نے خودکش حملہ آور بننے کا فیصلہ کیا اور ہفتہ کے روز نوشکی میں مبینہ طور پر آئی ایس آئی کے ہیڈکوارٹر کو نشانہ بنایا۔

ان حملوں میں مجموعی طور پر تقریباً 50 افراد ہلاک ہوئے، جن میں کم از کم 17 سیکیورٹی اہلکار شامل ہیں۔ صوبائی وزیر اعلیٰ سرفراز بگٹی کے مطابق پاکستانی سیکیورٹی فورسز نے 40 گھنٹے طویل کارروائی میں 140 سے زائد عسکریت پسندوں کو ہلاک کیا۔

پاکستان کے وزیر دفاع خواجہ آصف نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ ان میں سے دو حملوں میں خواتین خودکش حملہ آور شامل تھیں۔ دوسری خاتون حملہ آور کی شناخت تاحال ظاہر نہیں کی گئی، تاہم ایک ویڈیو منظرِ عام پر آئی ہے جس میں وہ حملے سے قبل حکومتِ پاکستان پر طنز کرتی دکھائی دیتی ہے۔

بی ایل اے نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ اس نے اپنی کارروائی کے دوسرے مرحلے کا آغاز “ہیروف” (سیاہ طوفان) کے نام سے کیا ہے، جس میں پورے بلوچستان میں سیکیورٹی تنصیبات کو نشانہ بنایا گیا۔
یہ حملے نوشکی، حب، چمن، نصیرآباد، گوادر اور مکران سمیت متعدد علاقوں میں رپورٹ ہوئے۔

بلوچستان، جو Pakistan کا سب سے بڑا مگر پسماندہ صوبہ ہے، کئی دہائیوں سے شورش کا شکار ہے جہاں علیحدگی پسند گروہ وسائل میں زیادہ حصہ اور خودمختاری کا مطالبہ کرتے رہے ہیں۔

Baloch militant group releases images of two female suicide attackers

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has released images of two suicide attackers involved in the recent large-scale, coordinated attacks across Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Both attackers are women, one of whom has been identified as 24-year-old Asifa Mengal.

According to the BLA, Asifa Mengal was the daughter of Mohammad Ismail and a resident of Nushki district. Born on October 2, 2002, she joined the group’s Majeed Brigade on her 21st birthday. The outfit claims she decided to become a “fidayee” (suicide attacker) in January 2024 and was involved in targeting the ISI headquarters in Nushki.

The attacks reportedly killed nearly 50 people, including at least 17 security personnel. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said Pakistani security forces conducted a 40-hour operation, killing over 140 militants.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed that two of the attacks involved female perpetrators. The identity of the second woman attacker has not yet been disclosed, though a video circulating online shows her mocking the Pakistani government prior to the attack.

The BLA announced that it has launched the second phase of its operation, code-named “Herof” (Black Storm), targeting security forces across Balochistan. Attacks were reported from Nushki, Hub, Chaman, Naseerabad, Gwadar, and Makran.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest yet poorest province, has witnessed decades of insurgency, with separatist groups demanding greater autonomy and control over natural resources.
