وزیرِ اعظم نریندر مودی نے نئی دہلی میں عرب ممالک کے وزرائے خارجہ سے ملاقات کے دوران فلسطینی عوام کے لیے بھارت کی مسلسل حمایت کا اعادہ کیا اور غزہ میں قیامِ امن کے لیے جاری کوششوں کا خیرمقدم کیا۔ یہ ملاقات انڈیا–عرب وزرائے خارجہ اجلاس کے موقع پر منعقد ہوئی، جس میں خطے میں امن، استحکام اور باہمی تعاون کے امکانات پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔

وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ بھارت فلسطینی عوام کے جائز حقوق کے ساتھ کھڑا ہے اور غزہ میں امن کے لیے ہر سنجیدہ کوشش کی حمایت کرتا ہے۔ انہوں نے خطے میں امن کے فروغ کے لیے عرب لیگ کے کردار کو سراہتے ہوئے اسے علاقائی استحکام کے لیے ایک اہم ستون قرار دیا۔

اپنے خطاب میں وزیرِ اعظم نے بھارت اور عرب دنیا کے درمیان قدیم تہذیبی رشتوں، مضبوط عوامی روابط اور مشترکہ اقدار کو اجاگر کیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ آنے والے برسوں میں ٹیکنالوجی، توانائی، تجارت اور اختراع کے شعبوں میں تعاون دونوں فریقین کے لیے نئے امکانات کھولے گا۔

سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم ایکس پر عرب وزرائے خارجہ کے ساتھ تصویر شیئر کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم نے لکھا کہ عرب دنیا بھارت کے وسیع تر پڑوس کا لازمی حصہ ہے اور دونوں خطوں کے درمیان برادرانہ تعلقات امن و ترقی کی مشترکہ خواہش کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں۔

یہ بیان ایسے وقت سامنے آیا ہے جب امریکا کے صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کی جانب سے پیش کردہ غزہ امن منصوبے اور مجوزہ ’’بورڈ آف پیس‘‘ میں شمولیت کے معاملے پر بھارت ابھی غور کر رہا ہے۔

ادھر فلسطینی وزیرِ خارجہ ورسن آغابیکیان نے کہا کہ بھارت اسرائیل اور فلسطین کے درمیان پائیدار امن کے لیے اہم ثالثی کردار ادا کرنے کی منفرد صلاحیت رکھتا ہے۔ ان کے مطابق بھارت کی انسانی امداد، ترقیاتی منصوبے اور اصولی مؤقف اس کی ساکھ کو مضبوط بناتے ہیں۔

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his meeting with Arab foreign ministers in New Delhi, reaffirmed India’s continued support for the Palestinian people and welcomed ongoing efforts aimed at peace in Gaza. The interaction took place on the sidelines of the India–Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, focusing on regional stability and future cooperation.

The Prime Minister reiterated that India stands by the legitimate rights of Palestinians and supports all sincere initiatives seeking peace in Gaza. He also praised the role of the Arab League in promoting regional peace and stability.

Highlighting the deep civilisational and people-to-people ties between India and the Arab world, PM Modi outlined his vision for an expanded India–Arab partnership in the years ahead. He emphasised enhanced cooperation in technology, energy, trade, and innovation as key pillars of future engagement.

Sharing photographs with Arab ministers on social media, the Prime Minister noted that the Arab world remains an integral part of India’s wider neighbourhood, bound together by shared values of peace, progress, and mutual respect.

The remarks come amid discussions around US President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza peace plan and the suggested “Board of Peace” initiative, on which India is yet to take a final call.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian stated that India is uniquely positioned to play a mediating role in achieving lasting peace between Israel and Palestine. She acknowledged India’s humanitarian assistance and consistent support for international law as vital contributions toward peace.
